Having the self that exists without beginning, and countless other beings, the knowledge that unhinderedly understands the past lives, including their basis, location, and form, is considered the power of knowing past lives. Ninth, the power of knowing death and birth: the death and, any birth that exists in the world until the edge of space, and those that are extremely splendid, for these, wisdom merges at that time, the power of being unattached, completely pure in every way, and limitless. For each being among the beings existing at the edge of space in the world realm, whatever death and birth is extremely bright and diverse, as soon as one wishes to understand it, wisdom immediately merges into it, because there is no attachment, and it is completely pure in every way, without obstruction, this is considered the power of knowing death and birth. Tenth, the power of knowing the exhaustion of outflows: with the speed of the power of all-knowing wisdom, the afflictions of the Buddhas and their habitual tendencies will be destroyed, while for the Shravakas and others, afflictions are prevented with wisdom. For this, wisdom is unattached and limitless, and is called power. The afflictions such as desire of the Buddhas, along with their habitual tendencies, will be destroyed and abandoned. However, the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas have not abandoned the subtle habitual tendencies of afflictions. For example, although afflictions have been abandoned, because habitual tendencies still remain, an Arhat who was previously a monkey will still jump and walk; one who was previously a Brahmin will still use vulgar language to address others, even if the Bhagavan forbids it, it cannot be changed. Therefore, for the connection of afflictions and habitual tendencies, whatever is prevented and abandoned with wisdom, for this, wisdom can merge without attachment and without obstruction, this is called the power of knowing the exhaustion of outflows. Second, showing that ordinary people cannot fully express the qualities: Only a Buddha can fully describe all the qualities of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat. If (the Buddha) were to speak, even if blessed with a lifespan of countless kalpas, without any other activity besides teaching, it would still be difficult to finish speaking.

Even if spoken, it cannot be completely exhausted. What need to mention Bodhisattvas? How could Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas possibly fully know or describe the Buddha's perfect qualities? To illustrate this point with an example: Without space, birds would not return, Here, they return due to the exhaustion of their own strength. Similarly, the Buddha's sons, including disciples, If they do not describe the Buddha's qualities, which are limitless like the sky, they will return. The king of birds, soaring in the sky, gains victory by overpowering others with the wind force of his wide wings, but he does not return because there is no space, but because his own strength is exhausted. Similarly, those sons of the Buddha who have attained inconceivable liberation also return from the qualities that are limitless like the sky because their own intellectual capacity is exhausted and they cannot describe the qualities of the Tathagata, not because they have not fully understood them. What need to mention that disciples, Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, will realize the perfect qualities of the Buddha? Since even the noble ones who abide on the stainless ground cannot fully realize them, from where did you obtain this discourse based on the qualities of the Tathagata? Therefore: Therefore, someone like me, Even if I cannot fully know and describe your qualities, However, because of the explanation of the noble Nagarjuna, I have cast aside doubts and spoken a little. Because it takes many years to fully know and describe the qualities of the Buddha, therefore, Bhagavan, even a small part of your qualities cannot be known or described by beings like us who are blinded by the darkness of ignorance. However, these slight descriptions we have made on the subject of the Buddha's qualities are following the explanation of the noble Nagarjuna, casting aside doubts about the Buddha's qualities, and speaking a little without hesitation. Briefly explaining the necessity of this treatise: Now, to briefly explain the subject and necessity of this treatise, it is said: Profound is emptiness, Other qualities are vast. By understanding the nature of profound and vast, These qualities will be attained. In short, this
