As it is extensively stated. Therefore, when analyzed in this way, the self-nature of things does not become established, so the illusion-like nature remains as the remainder for each and every thing. This is clearly shown through an example. For example, when a magician, through mantras and medicines, applies the designation of truth to horses, cattle, etc., and when attachment and anger arise towards their objects, they will be able to perform their functions until the illusion disappears. Although the magician perceives these various things, he has no attachment to them like ordinary people because he knows their nature. A person who is not deluded by the mantra of illusion does not even perceive the illusion, so what need is there to mention attachment and designation? Similarly, when children, etc., deluded by the mantra of ignorance that clings to things as real, see external and internal things appearing like illusions, they follow the designations that have been habitual since beginningless time, and although there is no reason, they appear to be real and cling to them, and apply designations. Until true wisdom arises, they perform their functions and are not deceived as they themselves cling to them, just like ordinary people deluded by the mantra of illusion. For the noble ones who have abandoned non-afflicted ignorance, although there is only the appearance of illusion in the subsequent attainment, they have no attachment to reality because true wisdom has removed the stain of clinging to things as real, just like a magician. For the perfectly enlightened Buddhas who have completely uprooted the imprints of all ignorance and abide in the Dharmakaya in every way, there is not even a sign of appearance, so what need is there to mention clinging to it as real, just like a person with pure eyes who is not deluded by the mantra of illusion. Just as a magician and a person with pure eyes apply the designation of illusion in accordance with those with eyes deluded by mantras, the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas also apply various conventional truths as they are known in the world.

What is said is also a means of guiding the world, but those do not possess conventional truth. Furthermore, just as a magician, in order to dispel the attachment to reality of the world deceived by magic, uses many reasons to prevent the world from grasping men and women, etc., as real, although their attachment to reality has been eliminated, the appearance of magic does not disappear until the magic disappears. Similarly, when the noble ones use many logical reasons to prevent children from grasping things as their true nature, it only loosens the bonds of attachment to reality of things. As long as the seeds of ignorance, which are not afflicted, are not uprooted, the appearance of dependent origination like illusion will not disappear. Therefore, the Madhyamikas use many collections of reasoning to prevent the attachment to reality of things, which becomes the cause of bondage, but they do not prevent dependent origination like illusion, because it cannot be prevented, and preventing it would also become the fault of slandering dependent origination. This appearance of dependent origination like illusion is also undeniable and non-deceptive for worldly people until the state of no appearance is attained. Therefore, from their perspective, the Madhyamikas also do not prevent and acknowledge it, but it is not acknowledged or established in terms of their own reasonable aspect, but is merely an illusion of ignorance, like a person with blurred vision seeing two moons, etc., because no valid cognition can establish it. Therefore, the statement that the Madhyamikas have no position of their own remains unshakable in every way. If all of this is like illusion, and illusion has neither bondage nor liberation, then do you not acknowledge even the slightest bondage and liberation here? If so, all compositions would become meaningless. The answer is that bondage and liberation are also understood in the manner of illusion, like this: This mind itself, an unreal illusory person, Roams in the three existences, an unreal city of gandharvas. The appearance of objects is unreal, chasing after the watermarks of mirages, This unreal state is the nature of samsara. The illusory person meditates on the suchness of illusion, The eye born of meditation sees flowers in the sky. A knot in the sky
