If it can destroy everything, then, in order to cut off and subdue the heretics who are controlled by wrong views, this Dharma should be declared to the pure vessels. If you think so, that is not right. The meaning of selflessness is declared by the Tathagatas, not to subdue other opponents, nor to argue, but to declare the pure gate - emptiness. Although it is not declared for the sake of argument, when the Dharma of selflessness arises in the continuum of the faithful, it can reverse the wrong discriminations of other evil speakers, because it is the nature of burning all the bonds of affliction. For example, fire exists for the purpose of smelting, etc., although it is not for the purpose of burning firewood, but because fire has the nature of burning, it can accomplish the desired meaning and also burn firewood. The teacher also said: Like dewdrops on the tip of grass, When meeting the sunlight, The arguments and faults of the opponents, Will be destroyed when meeting you. It is said like this. If so, then when this Dharma arises in the continuum of the faithful, how does it burn other words? Because whoever knows and experiences the nectar taste of the Dharma of self-nature emptiness with the tongue root of hearing, thinking, and meditating, then he will feel that the taste of other views is tasteless, so he does not like other views. For what reason is it like this? Therefore, the Dharma of self-nature emptiness, for whoever realizes it, can see that all evil views will not arise again in his continuum. To the author of the treatise, it seems like a gate that destroys all non-Dharma. The teacher said words that can satisfy the wise people, like tasting the nectar taste of the supreme Dharma. Or, considering the Dharma of the teachings, it is said that it seems like the gate of destruction, because the suffering of Nirvana, including the cause, is forever destroyed, and the gate that follows it is the nature of realizing the gate of liberation - emptiness, and the Dharma of the teachings seems similar to it in the teacher's view. The second part is divided into two parts. The first part is the supreme self

The reason for not fearing non-self: Why is it that this Dharma does not become a cause of fear for the noble ones? Because the cause of fear, attachment to self, has been reversed. Whoever is attached to self desires views of things that are in accordance with it, and because it is not in accordance, they do not like the view of non-self. For those noble ones who truly understand that external and internal phenomena are without self or self-nature, and who abide in that understanding, they are satisfied with what they see, so how could they be pleased with the existence of self? Those who, not seeing, doubt the annihilation of self and thus generate fear, how could they be frightened by non-self? Because they have no attachment to the view of existence and no anger towards non-self, therefore, Nirvana is the abode of the holy ones, so non-self is not a cause of fear. Second, one should have compassion for those who desire the Dharma: Because the cause of endless suffering is linked to the view of things, it leads to meaningless samsaric suffering, becoming the root of endless suffering. Many non-Buddhists' snakes hold views of things and non-things, like a dense thicket of thorns, leading the world away from the good path of Nirvana and into the thicket of thorns of wrong views, cutting off the life force of virtue that is in harmony with liberation, killing them day by day. Seeing this, who among the beings who desire liberation from samsara and who have the lineage of Bodhisattvas, understanding the nature of this Dharma, would not generate compassion? Not only should compassion arise, but they should also be treated with respect, and in order that they may not be plundered again by the snakes of non-Buddhists, the path of approaching non-self should be shown to them. Fourth, distinguishing the gross and subtle differences between self-nature and other-nature: Why are sentient beings associated with non-Buddhists and not with the Sugatas? Because of the difference between gross and subtle. For example, the naked ascetics, because they do not practice clean conduct, their bodies are covered with mud of filth, they have no bathing cloths, and they claim to be pure by enduring the suffering of cold, wind, sun, and pulling out their hair. Their system is something that can be understood by seeing.
