All conditioned phenomena gathered by actions and afflictions, which are the cause of the path; the eightfold noble path, which is the method of pacification; and nirvana, the pacification where all oppressions cease—these four truths are taught as they are to those who desire liberation. Therefore, those who are diligent in hearing, thinking, and meditating will comprehend them as they are. They will realize the meaning of what the Bhagavan has closely shown as it is. Those worldly people who are not diligent in hearing, thinking, and meditating, who are not vessels themselves, who are not touched by the Dharma, whatever we do not fully understand as it is, we will certainly say that the Buddha has not correctly explained it, and we will manifest such faults. However, that alone does not mean that the Bhagavan is at fault, because he has shown the four noble truths as they are, and therefore he is the one who shows the complete benefit of all beings. The second part: establishing the Muni as omniscient and showing that the non-Buddhists are not omniscient. The first part is: If the Tathagata speaks of exalted speech, clarifying the meaning of Dharma such as giving and morality, then the truly excellent speech is that which is devoted to showing that all things are empty, because we cannot understand it, therefore it does not please us. If someone says: By abandoning attachment to all afflicted things such as happiness and suffering, one can attain nirvana, which is desired and acknowledged by all the wonderful ones who desire liberation, such as the Samkhyas and Vaisheshikas. Because it is so, what reason is there for those who refute and abandon all afflicted things and say that they attain nirvana to be unhappy? The Bhagavan has not said anything that has not happened before, but all of you desire to attain nirvana by abandoning everything, and the Bhagavan has only shown the method of abandoning everything through the path of devoting himself to explaining that everything is without inherent existence. Therefore, do not be afraid of the Bhagavan's teachings, but generate joy and make this Dharma your own. If all the wonderful ones desire to attain nirvana by abandoning everything, then
