Because I cannot remain calm. Secondly, in particular, there are three aspects to practicing the Dharma of definite goodness. First, cultivating the five faculties and five powers of the path of application: Thus, in order to show the Dharma of obstacles to be abandoned, and then to show the Dharma to be relied upon that is in accordance with liberation. Faith and diligence, as well as mindfulness and, Samadhi and wisdom, these five are the supreme Dharma, Strive diligently in these, for these are, Called powers and faculties, also the highest peak. Thus it is said, the faith of believing in the truths, and the diligence of rejoicing in manifesting them, and the mindfulness of not forgetting the truths and, their nature, and the samadhi of one-pointedness of mind on the nature of the truths, and the wisdom of correctly distinguishing the nature of the truths, strive diligently and familiarize yourselves with these five, and when these become the actual cause of the noble path, they are called the supreme Dharma. When they are in the stage of forbearance, because they are not overcome by opposing factors, they are called powers. When in the stage of warmth, in order to have more power to realize the truths, they are called faculties. When it increases, because it becomes the peak of shaking the roots of virtue, it is also called the highest peak. Second, abandoning its opposing condition—arrogance: Old age, sickness, death, suffering, separation, and likewise, Karma is my own, not beyond karma, Thus thinking again and again, Through the door of its antidote, arrogance will not arise. Thus it is said, I am not beyond the state of aging, sickness, death, suffering, and separation, likewise, I am not beyond the state of karma being my own, happiness and suffering depend on the karma I have done before, I have no autonomy. One should contemplate properly, thus thinking again and again, through the door of this antidote to arrogance, arrogance will not arise, thus think. Third, cultivating the conducive condition—the correct view, divided into two, first, a brief explanation: Because the cause of the arising of faculties such as faith is, the correct view, in order to show the cultivation of it, If you desire higher realms and liberation, Strive to cultivate pure and correct views, Even if a person with wrong views performs virtuous deeds, All are

"The inexhaustible possessor of fully ripened karma." Thus it is said. Here, there are two kinds of right view: the object of conventional truth and the object of ultimate truth. The first is to have faith in the relationship between actions and their results in the future. The second is the wisdom that realizes the emptiness, the suchness of all phenomena. The first right view is the cause of higher realms, and the second is the cause of liberation. Therefore, if you wish for the happiness of higher realms temporarily and the ultimate happiness of liberation, then always familiarize yourself with the right view of the objects of conventional and ultimate truth, as mentioned above. What will happen if you do not cultivate it? If a person does not have the right view of the object of conventional truth, and with a wrong view that slanders the cause and effect of actions, even if they have previously practiced generosity and so on well, all the actions in their own mindstream will become inexhaustible and fierce in their ripening, because wrong views uproot the roots of virtue. Furthermore, a person without the right view of the object of ultimate truth, who has a wrong view of clinging to things as they appear, even if they practice generosity and so on well, the ripening of all actions will throw them into samsara, therefore it is added "inexhaustible possessor." Second, the extensive explanation, of which the first of the five is cultivating the four mindfulnesses: "People are truly not happy, impermanent, selfless, and impure; one should know that those who have not established mindfulness see the four inversions as a destructive collection." Thus it is said. People are truly not happy because, when viewed with wisdom, they possess the three kinds of suffering; they are impermanent because they do not remain in two times; they are selfless because there is no independent self; and they are impure because they are composed of bones, flesh, and blood, and so on. Thus, those who have not established mindfulness, that is, those who have not examined with wisdom, see purity in the impure body, happiness in painful feelings, permanence in the impermanent mind, and self in the selfless phenomena. These four inverted views are the cause of samsara and the lower realms, therefore they are a destructive collection, so one should establish mindfulness. Second, especially, cultivating the mindfulness of phenomena is: If
