If, for one's own purpose, one were to fabricate and utter excessive statements, then we do not explain the absence of inherent existence as the meaning of emptiness, but rather we explain dependent arising as the meaning of emptiness. Therefore, it is not appropriate to refute those who speak of emptiness. Secondly, not only does our side not incur the faults mentioned above, but the establishment of truths and so forth is also very reasonable. It is like this: For whom emptiness is possible, for them everything is possible. For whom emptiness is not possible, for them everything is not possible. For whom emptiness is possible, for them all the establishments of truths and so forth as previously stated are possible. How is it possible? We say that dependent arising is emptiness. Therefore, for whom emptiness is possible, for them dependent arising is possible. For whom dependent arising is possible, for them the four noble truths are reasonable. Like this, whatever arises dependently is suffering, and what is not dependent arising is not suffering. If suffering exists, then the origin of suffering, the cessation of suffering, and the path leading to the cessation of suffering are all possible. Therefore, from fully understanding suffering to cultivating the path, everything is possible. If the truths such as suffering are fully understood, then the four fruits are also possible. If fruits exist, then those who abide in the fruits and those who enter the fruits are also possible. If these exist, then the Sangha is possible. If the noble truths exist, then the sacred Dharma is possible. If the Dharma and Sangha exist, then the Buddha is possible. Therefore, the Three Jewels are possible. Similarly, the distinction between the world and what transcends the world, the understanding of all these, as well as Dharma and non-Dharma and their results, and all the conventions of the world are also possible. Thus, for whom emptiness is possible, for them everything is possible. For whom emptiness is not possible, for them, because dependent arising is not possible, everything is not possible. How it is not possible will be explained in detail below. The second part includes a brief indication and a detailed explanation. The first is: You completely transfer your own faults to me.

You! Just like clearly riding on a horse, yet forgetting the horse being ridden. Likewise, our sect's teachings are completely pure, not contradicting any assertions. But your own sect is coarse, full of faults, and contradicts assertions, yet because of extreme foolishness, you don't see the merits and flaws, and completely transfer the faults that belong to you onto me. Just like some people clearly riding on a horse, yet forgetting the horse being ridden, and instead find fault with others for the crime of stealing the horse. You are also like that, clearly acknowledging dependent origination, riding on the horse that has the nature of dependent origination, yet because of wrong views, your mind is distracted, and you don't grasp its meaning, and instead find fault with us. Secondly, for those who assert inherent existence, agent and object etc. are not permissible, and transcendent terms are not permissible, and mundane terms are not permissible, these are the three. The first has two reasons: things and everything is permissible for emptiness. The first is: If someone finds fault with those who assert emptiness because they haven't observed, what is their fault? If things from their own nature, are observed to exist, then for you, things are without cause and conditions. If someone believes that inner and outer things exist from their own nature, then, since inherent existence doesn't rely on cause and conditions, for you, things are without cause and conditions. If you admit that there is no cause, then, the result and the cause, and the agent and the action and the object, arising and ceasing, will also harm the result. If a pot doesn't rely on cause and conditions, but exists inherently, then its cause, the clay etc., and the agent, the potter, and the action, the wheel etc., and the act of making the pot etc. will all disappear. Since they disappear, arising and ceasing will also disappear. Therefore, how can the result, the pot itself, exist? Therefore, it harms everything, including the result. Therefore, if you admit that things have inherent existence, then everything is not permissible. The second is: For us who assert emptiness, all of this is permissible. Like this, dependent
