Therefore, having realized that the depth (of the Dharma) is difficult to understand, the Buddha's mind completely turned away from teaching the Dharma. Because wrongly grasping emptiness destroys the grasper, and those of shallow wisdom cannot correctly understand it, therefore, after manifesting complete enlightenment in unsurpassed perfect complete enlightenment, observing that the realms and dharmas of sentient beings are extremely profound, and realizing that those of shallow wisdom find it difficult to understand the depth of this Dharma, therefore, the mind of the Shakyamuni Bhagavan turned away from teaching the Dharma. As it is said in the sutra: Thereafter, not long after the Bhagavan manifested complete enlightenment, he thought thus: I should not investigate this profound Dharma, which appears profound, which is not the domain of speculation, which is subtle, and which should be understood and comprehended by the wise and intelligent. If I teach it to others, others will not understand my meaning. That will cause me harm, make me discouraged, and make me displeased, so rather I will dwell alone in the extremely secluded forest, abiding in the joy of touching the Dharma. Thus it is extensively said. Second, refuting common objections: It is revealed that objections do not apply to Madhyamikas, but apply to realists. Among these, the first point is further divided into: directly revealing that objections do not apply, and revealing that all establishments are reasonable. The first point: The inference that becomes a fault is: Because (this objection) is not reasonable for emptiness, therefore you are rejecting emptiness, which is not reasonable for me. Because you say to us: If all these are empty, there will be no arising and no destruction, etc. These major faults that you have presented are presented because you do not understand the establishment of the two truths, and have not truly comprehended emptiness, the meaning of emptiness, and the necessity of emptiness, therefore, this fault is not reasonable for us who proclaim emptiness. Because it is unreasonable, therefore you are holding on to some meaning and saying that emptiness has faults, but the meaning of emptiness that you are rejecting is not the meaning of emptiness for me. For example, you consider the meaning of non-inherent existence to be empti
