Meaning cannot be shown. If the ultimate is not realized, nirvana cannot be attained. Without relying on and acknowledging the truths of worldly conventions such as knowledge, knower, object of speech, and speaker, the ultimate truth cannot be shown. If it is not shown, it cannot be realized, and if the ultimate truth is not realized, nirvana cannot be attained. Therefore, in order to attain nirvana, just as someone desiring water needs a vessel, one must first unhesitatingly acknowledge the reality of the conventional as it is, and then show the ultimate truth. Fourth, therefore, the yogi who knows the establishment of the two truths as described above without distortion will not fall into two extremes. For example, since he does not affirm any inherent nature of things, he does not deny that what previously existed later disappears. Since he does not harm things that are similar to worldly illusions, he also acknowledges actions and their results, as well as dharma and non-dharma, etc. He also does not make false assumptions about ultimate things, because only when things are without inherent nature can one see actions and results, etc. If things had inherent nature, the relationship between actions and results would be unreasonable, and all dependent origination, etc., would be unreasonable. Those who do not understand the establishment of the two truths and speak emptily about emptiness will fall into the abyss of wrong views. For example: If emptiness is viewed wrongly, it will destroy those of little wisdom, just as wrongly grasping a snake, or wrongly practicing mantras. There are two wrong views of emptiness: thinking that emptiness means the non-existence of things, and thinking that emptiness is the true essence of things. Among these, thinking that emptiness means the non-existence of things, then one will either fall into the nihilistic view of denying everything, thinking that all conditioned phenomena are empty, therefore they do not exist. As it is said in the Ratnavali: If this dharma is wrongly understood, the unwise will be destroyed, just like this, drowning in the view of non-existence. If one does not want to deny all this,

If one clings to emptiness as meaning non-existence, and says that those sutras that teach all phenomena as being without inherent existence are teaching annihilationism, then by abandoning emptiness, one will definitely go to the lower realms due to the karma of lacking Dharma. As it is said: 'Furthermore, if one wrongly grasps this, a fool with the pride of a wise man, abandoning it becomes an evil nature, and will surely go to the Avici hell.' Thus it is said. Therefore, for the time being, clinging to emptiness as meaning non-existence will destroy the one who clings. If one clings to emptiness as being manifestly the nature of true existence, then one has entered the wrong path to nirvana, and like a patient abandoned by a doctor, one has an incurable view. For them, teaching emptiness is without result. Therefore, the teacher says: 'In order to destroy all conceptualizations, you have taught the nectar of emptiness. Those who have attachment even to that, you have criticized.' Thus it is said. Therefore, even if one clings to emptiness as being real, it will destroy the one who clings. Thus, if one clings to emptiness as being existent or non-existent and develops wrong views, then the one who clings, being of little wisdom, will be destroyed in the manner described above. If one clings to something that is beneficial in a different way, it will not be beneficial. Then, how will it cause harm? To this, it is shown by way of example: 'Like wrongly holding a snake, and wrongly performing a mantra.' Just as holding a snake with the power of medicine and mantra, according to the correct method, will give a heap of wealth. If one abandons the instructions that have been closely shown and holds it haphazardly, then wrongly holding it will destroy the one who holds it. Just as a mantra that is practiced according to the correct method will benefit the practitioner. If the mantra is flawed and the mantra is practiced wrongly, it will destroy the practitioner. Similarly, here too, if one holds emptiness according to the correct instructions of the two truths, it will connect the one who holds it to the supreme bliss of nirvana. If one abandons the instructions that have been closely shown and holds it, then in the manner described above, it will destroy the one who holds it. Fifth, therefore, due to weakness, to the Dharma
