The actions, whether virtuous or non-virtuous, all those that are similar are the same, and all those that are dissimilar are not the same, all these non-perishing natures, when taking rebirth in the three realms, however many non-perishing natures have been created from previous actions, all of them are destroyed, and only one non-perishing nature is born for all. Moreover, this is for those of the same realm, but not for those of different realms. In the present dharma, these two, all actions and that of actions, are born separately and mature, yet also abide without ceasing. In the present dharma, in this life, with the distinction of contaminated and uncontaminated, all these two kinds of non-perishing nature, from the nature of mind and thought, the actions and the non-perishing nature of actions, each produces many differences, and these non-perishing natures, even after ripening, do not cease, but abide. Even if they already exist, they are like becoming a pledge, unable to produce different results. That is when the fruit is transferred and when death occurs, it will cease. Its classification has uncontaminated and contaminated. Generally, the so-called contaminated and uncontaminated refers to being related or unrelated to the six gates of leakage, and to establishing whether or not the leakage of desire, existence, ignorance, and view have been abandoned, and whether or not the obscurations of knowledge have been abandoned. The six gates of leakage are in the Compendium of Categories... (commentary missing). It should be known as contaminated. The non-perishing nature is certain to have two ways of ceasing: that is, the fruit from the first fruit to the fourth fruit is transferred from the former to the latter, and it will cease when death occurs. The cessation when the fruit is transferred, as it is said, is also the same as abandoning through practice. The cessation at death, as it is said, is that at the time of rebirth, only one will be produced. It should be known that the classification of non-perishing nature is divided into two types: uncontaminated and contaminated. The non-perishing nature of uncontaminated dharmas is uncontaminated, and the non-perishing nature of contaminated dharmas is contaminated. Therefore, emptiness and non-cessation, samsara and impermanence, the dharma of non-perishing of actions, are what the Buddhas have taught. Because actions, after being created, do not exist due to their nature of ceasing, it is reasonable to establish them as emptiness. In this way, the non-abiding of actions will not lead to the fault of annihilation, because the non-perishing nature completely holds the fruit of actions.
