Because wisdom-wind merges inseparably and enters, it appears as the form of wind Ashada (Tibetan: ཨ་ཤད་). Later, when melted by the fire of desire, it transforms into a bindu Ashada (Tibetan: ཨ་ཤད་), thus sometimes appearing as a bindu and sometimes as wind. The essence of the basis of "mind isolation" according to the lineage of the noble ones is also the indestructible bindu itself. In the Compendium of Practices, when explaining the Samadhi of Manjushri, it is said to be the mind of the nature of the three minds residing within the bodies of sentient beings. That is, the bindu consciousness named "indestructible" residing in the center of the heart of all embodied beings transforms into the three minds due to differences in states. In the impure state, it is indistinguishable because it merges inseparably with the nature of conceptual thought and gold. The distinctions are merely imputed: the nature of conceptual thought arising from desire is only clear, that arising from hatred is very clear, and that arising from ignorance is unclear. One can infer that these self-nature non-conceptual appearances have three qualities: clear, very clear, and unclear. The method for making them manifest is: the yogi perfects the generation stage, tames the wind through speech isolation, and upon gaining complete control over the wind, relies on a mudra possessing characteristics. By practicing according to the guru's instructions, the three minds will manifest accordingly. In the Five Stages, it is said: "Among all illusions, the illusory woman is particularly superior. The distinctions of the three wisdoms are indicated by this." It is also said that mind isolation is when the bindu resides in the center of the unopened lotus in the hearts of sentient beings. In the Kalachakra, in the chapter on karma, it is said that relying on the mudra, these three minds only manifest the nature of conventional truth, which is mere clarity and awareness free from the defilements of the eighty types of self-nature conceptual thoughts. However, it is not the manifestation of the nature of ultimate truth, which is emptiness. In the Oral Instructions, it is said: "Clear, exceedingly joyful, like space, not perceived as other, the mudra of the illusory woman is superior to all illusions." Therefore, although it is said that one practices the inseparability of profundity and clarity by relying on the mudra, (what has been said above) is the state of mind isolation.

The ground and the way of manifestation are different. In the state of mental solitude, one only sees the conventional nature of the mind itself. In this state, the yogi relies on the mudra to manifest the clear light, so the profound emptiness and the clear Mahamudra body, like a rainbow, appear only as appearances without inherent existence. The union of these two, which are indivisible, is the direct realization of the non-referential wisdom. This is also the meaning of the inseparability of profundity and clarity. In 'Drops of Liberation' it says: 'Completely free from all discriminations, far beyond the realm of thought and expression, like the sky, immaculate, the source of all, is called the unfathomable profundity. Holding the form of Mahamudra, like an illusion, like a rainbow, harmonizing one's own and others' continuums, is called true clarity.' So it is said. Is the realization of the ultimate reality of non-appearance clear light, or is the realization of the inseparability of profundity and clarity not non-appearance? If so, all those who consider the realization of ultimate reality to be clear light disagree with the Madhyamikas who follow Nagarjuna in their view of ultimate truth, because Tibetan and Chinese scholars say that there are two types of Madhyamika: like illusion and non-abiding. The meaning of the treatises that follow Nagarjuna also abides in the same way. However, in Ngok Loden Sherab's letter 'Drops of Ambrosia' it says: 'To think that there are two Madhyamikas is foolish and ridiculous.' This refutation is due to his own fault of not distinguishing the intentions of the two great chariots of Madhyamika. In reality, it is not that there are not two Madhyamikas. Arya Simha and Shantarakshita and their disciples, and many Vajrayana masters such as Yeshe Zhap who agree with them, appear to regard Madhyamika as like an illusion. Chandrakirti, Dharmakirti, Gunamati, and the Vajrayana masters who agree with them, appear to regard Madhyamika as non-abiding. The reasons for this will not be elaborated here. The present situation is that the intention of Zhalyel Yeshe Zhap is to bring the inseparability of profundity and clarity, like an illusion, to its ultimate conclusion, and not to regard emptiness as isolated and ultimate, as in the non-abiding view. In 'Drops of Liberation' it says: 'Therefore, profound and clear enlightenment is liberated by the realization of non-duality. Not by realizing only profundity, nor by realizing only clarity.'
