It is called "Le." When this is realized, all conventional phenomena disappear. Therefore, it destroys phenomena. At the time of destruction, fire and so on cannot destroy it, so it cannot be destroyed by anything. Why is it called "Liberated Bindu"? Because by realizing it, one is liberated from afflictions and cognitive obscurations. Why is it called "Co-emergent Wisdom"? Because it is the wisdom that has been naturally established in sentient beings from the very beginning. Why is it called "Inseparability of Profundity and Clarity"? Because it is inseparable from emptiness, which is free from all profound designations, and clarity, which is like an illusion that appears but has no inherent nature at the base stage, and the body of Mahamudra like a rainbow at the fruition stage. Why is it called "Dharmadhatu"? Because it itself is the basis of all samsara and nirvana due to the distinction between pure and impure states. Why is it called "All-pervading Space Vajra"? Because all moving and non-moving things in the three realms are its manifestations, and its nature cannot be destroyed by any antidote. Furthermore, in the Supreme First Glorious One it says, "The Bodhisattva without beginning or end is Vajrasattva, great joy." And in the Two Examinations it says, "Great wisdom dwells in the body, completely abandoning all thoughts." And in the Sambhuti it says, "As long as the body remains, one performs actions and non-actions. When the body of karma is destroyed, then one becomes a deity." And in the Praise of Dharmadhatu it says, "If one does not fully understand, one wanders in the three realms. I prostrate to the Dharmadhatu that dwells in all sentient beings. That which becomes the cause of samsara, by purifying it, that pure one is nirvana, and the Dharmakaya is also that." And so on, in many sutras and tantras, it is taught with many different names. The basis for identifying the definition is: the consciousness that takes the body, that is, according to the Alaya, it is the Vipaka aspect of the Alaya, and if one does not accept it, it is the nature of the mind. The way to determine its characteristics is: what is the basis on which it rests, and what is its essence, and so on.
