There is no difference in that regard. What is the difference between the Sutra School and the Mind-Only School? In the stage of the basis, the Sutra School believes that the apprehended external objects are truly established, so all the minds and mental factors that grasp them are considered non-erroneous. The Mind-Only School does not consider the apprehended to be true, and all the minds and mental factors that grasp it, except for realizing suchness, are considered erroneous. Both agree that minds and mental factors are substantially existent. In the stage of the path, the Sutra School believes that the antidote is only the realization of the selflessness of persons, and what is to be abandoned is only the afflictive obscurations and the obscurations of meditative absorption, and they do not believe this for all three types of individuals. The Mind-Only School believes that for the Hearer lineage, the antidote is limited to that. For the Solitary Realizer lineage, in addition to that, the antidote also needs to realize the selflessness of phenomena, which is the non-truth of what is apprehended, and what is to be abandoned is the aspect of grasping in the cognitive obscurations. For the Great Vehicle lineage, the antidote needs to realize both the selflessness of persons and the selflessness of phenomena, and what is to be abandoned is both the afflictive and cognitive obscurations. In terms of the result, the Sutra School believes that all the nirvanas of the three vehicles are non-affirming negations, as previously explained. The Mind-Only School believes that all nirvanas are suchness, free from whatever is to be abandoned. In particular, the Sutra School does not accept anything beyond the Form Body and the Dharma Body, while the Mind-Only School believes in the Three Bodies, etc., so the differences are endless. For the Madhyamaka School, is there anything other than the Prasangika and Svatantrika? Before Aryadeva, there was no distinction between Prasangika and Svatantrika. Later, the direct disciple of the noble Nagarjuna, the teacher Buddhapalita, wrote a commentary on the "Fundamental Verses on the Middle Way," explaining the teacher's view as Prasangika. After that, the teacher Bhavaviveka wrote a commentary on the "Fundamental Verses on the Middle Way," refuting Buddhapalita and explaining the teacher's view as Svatantrika. From then on, they were divided into Prasangika and Svatantrika. From then on, there are only Prasangika and Svatantrika in the Madhyamaka School. All Prasangikas have the same tenets, so there is no difference. Among the Svatantrikas, there are the Madhyamaka who follow the Sutra School and the Madhyamaka who follow the Yoga School. The reason for this distinction is that Bhavaviveka believes that Nagarjuna's texts are, for others,

It is said that those who accept the existence of things merely in terms of conventional truth are the coarse, external Madhyamikas. Those who accept only consciousness in terms of conventional truth, without any external objects, are the subtle, internal Madhyamikas. Therefore, the Madhyamikas who follow the Sutra school follow the coarse, external Madhyamikas, accepting external objects merely in terms of conventional truth, and their tenets are in accordance with the Sutra school. The Madhyamikas who follow the Yoga school follow the subtle, internal Madhyamikas, accepting only consciousness in terms of conventional truth and not accepting external objects, and their tenets are in accordance with the Yogacara (Mind-Only) school. The Madhyamika-Prasangikas, such as the glorious Chandrakirti, hold that in reality, external objects do not exist, and consciousness is not established either. In conventional truth, external objects exist, and consciousness exists. Their tenets follow worldly conventions and do not follow the Sutra school, the Mind-Only school, or other philosophical schools, because they analyze conventional truth with reason and accept objects and consciousness. However, the objects and consciousness as they conceive them are not established even in conventional truth. Therefore, the Prasangikas are known as the Madhyamikas who follow worldly conventions. The difference between Prasangika and Svatantrika is that, although the aforementioned points can also establish it, I will explain it briefly. Both of these schools have no disagreement whatsoever regarding the ultimate truth of reality. However, regarding the establishment of temporary conventional truth, as mentioned before, there is a slight disagreement. In particular, the reason for establishing the terms Prasangika and Svatantrika is that, in conventional truth, if one pledges to assert that all phenomena are unborn by one's own system and presents reasoning established by one's own system of valid cognition to prove it, that is the Svatantrika. As for unbornness and emptiness, etc., they are accepted solely as actions for the benefit of others to refute the wrong views of others. And the wrong views of others, which are clinging to extremes, are refuted by the consequences of contradictions within the opponent's assertions and by reasoning that is self-evident to the world. They do not express any reasoning established in the Madhyamika's own system, because their own system does not make any assertions.
