If the practitioner sees it, then he will accomplish the transcendent accomplishment. In various delightful places, such as gardens and parks, adorned by daughters of gods and humans, etc., a meditator with samaya, abiding in the yoga of discrimination, whoever sees it, that is the blessing of all Buddhas. He will also obtain the accomplishments pleasing to the Tathagatas, worldly happiness, and desired things. If one dreams of being empowered by the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, that is the great king of vidyadharas, the chief vidyadharas see themselves making offerings, and what is obtained is the fruit of the dream. It is also said like that. Briefly summarizing the desired dreams is: arising from the vajra, it is the variety taught by the Tathagata. Those that are spoken and unspoken are stainless, whoever sees a pure and good dream, that is born from the vajra of body, speech, and mind, arising and perfecting in the ordinary body, speech, and mind, accomplishing and obtaining the completely pure deity body of the unsurpassed Suchness. Showing dreams that cannot be accomplished: if outcastes, dogs, etc., monkeys and pretas, etc., other ugly forms, if with the vajra wisdom, the practitioner sees in a dream, that is a sign of samaya decay. The wise one sees the truth, although with the steadfast diligence of Vajrasattva, he will not obtain the accomplishment of Mahamudra in this life, and after dying without abandoning suffering, the place of consciousness will accomplish the body. Briefly showing the illusory samadhi is: in order to cultivate that Suchness, what is said below is the samaya of analyzing dreams, at the time of analyzing the nature of dreams, it becomes the heart essence, cutting off the doubt of whether all dharmas are outside the mind, therefore it is the word of the heart essence. Among them, first here, cultivating the appearance of dreams into mind-nature: at the time of seeing a dream, mountain house

All phenomena that appear in various forms such as mountains, etc., are fully established as mind-objects, that is, merely appearances of the mind. In the state of dreaming, whatever appears when the eyes are slightly open, there is nothing other than one's own mind-essence. Just as dreams are not other than the mind, similarly, all appearances of samsara and nirvana in the state of cessation are also not other than the mind, because both the waking and dreaming states are equally merely appearances of mental delusion. If there is no external object separate from the mind, then where does the mind itself reside? This mind resides in the vajra-sky, that is, in the essence of luminous emptiness. Although the mind is emptiness, is there anything that is different from the mind? There is no dharma that is different from the mind, that is, there is nothing at all, because all the dharmas of samsara and nirvana are exhausted as merely appearances of the mind. Then, if all dharmas are not other than the mind, and the mind is emptiness, and there is no subject of dharma, is there a nature of dharma? There is no nature of dharma other than the state of the mind, that is, the state of not abiding in any extreme, because there is no subject of dharma, and the nature of dharma depends on the subject of dharma. The fact that there is no difference between the waking and dreaming states is proven by the words of the noble Deva (Sanskrit: Āryadeva). In the Compendium of Trainings (Śikṣāsamuccaya), it says: "Aggregates, elements, sense-fields, faculties, etc., the two consciousnesses are well gathered here, whoever sleeps becomes a great emptiness, relying on the wind, one will surely see dreams, desiring the fruit of dreams, one diligently makes effort, there is truly no one who can make one sleep or awaken, all those dharmas are like dreams, falsehood and truth are also not there." That is to say, during sleep, the discriminations of aggregates, elements, sense-fields, etc., the two consciousnesses, that is, appearance and the increase of appearance, merge and dissolve into this, and the two consciousnesses also dissolve into the great emptiness of ignorance. Whoever abides in the state of great emptiness of ignorance is called deep sleep, and at that time the appearance of dreams does not arise. Then, how does one see dreams? Relying on the wind, that is, the wind awakens the alaya-consciousness, and therefore one will surely see dreams.
