Therefore, among the five dhyanas, examination and analysis reveal the solitude of the body. Joy is the benefit of the solitude of the body. The third limb, life force exertion, is the solitude of speech. Bliss is the benefit of the solitude of speech. One-pointedness of mind is the complete solitude of mind. The benefit of dhyana, the reality of all Buddhas, shows the conventional truth as illusion. Peace implicitly shows the ultimate truth. These show the illusory body preceded by the three solitudes. The fourth limb, holding, shows the clear light. The fifth limb, recollection, from that limb of holding the clear light, the limb of recollection, the three reverse appearances together with the subtle realms arise. The sixth limb, samadhi, from that very limb of recollection, the limb of samadhi arises, accomplishing the union of the Sambhogakaya. Since it abides in the supreme mandala of the Nirmanakaya, by training in the supreme activity of the union of the three kayas, inseparable and possessing three characteristics, one will ultimately attain the great Vajradhara state of no further learning. Secondly, if one empowers the path of the lazy to transcend suffering in the bardo, examination and analysis, joy, bliss, one-pointedness of mind, and the benefit of that, the reality of all Buddhas, are shown up to the ultimate limit of conventional truth, as before. Gathering them separately shows the conduct during the time of conventional truth. Although the conventional conduct together with that is completed, because of the power of great laziness, clear light is not directly manifested. If the signs of death arise and one is about to die, at that time, one should release this projection in this way: 'I will unite death and clear light, and arise in the bardo as spontaneously accomplished union, and in that very state, I will become enlightened.' With that thought, one should generate the mind. Then, the aggregates and so forth gradually dissolve. At the time when the pervasive wind of nine hundred circulates one thousand times, performing the vajra recitation is the meaning of the third limb, life force exertion. Then, the pervasive wind dissolves into consciousness. Consciousness dissolving into clear light is the limb of the fourth limb, holding. From that, the three reverse appearances together with wind arise, which is the limb of recollection. From that limb of recollection, the limb of samadhi...
