This is the intermediate part on how to meditate, which is the explanation of the first branch. Then, through the superior wisdom, entering the mandala of true meaning, making it stable with the mantra of emptiness, attaining the supreme Bodhi, which is attaining its own nature, attaining Bodhi from Suchness, as well as the moon, letters, mudras, and the complete body attaining Bodhi, etc., because it is practiced and generated there, it is near attainment. For such near attainment, combine "superior on accomplishment, superior on Vajra birthplace superior." Superior on accomplishment means that accomplishment is the great mudra generated by the five Abhisambodhis, and superior means establishing twenty-seven seed syllables such as Om (藏文:ༀ,梵文天城体:ॐ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡) on it. Superior on Vajra birthplace superior means to regard those seed syllables as the nature of those respective deities. In the commentary, the order of the third sequence must be determined, and it is called the meaning of superior because of fully understanding the cause and effect. The order of the three sequences is: the twenty-seven base places for establishing seed syllables, and the twenty-seven seed syllables established in those places, and those seed syllables must be regarded as the nature of their respective deities. Establishing the twenty-seven letters as the nature of the deity is fully understanding the cause, and obtaining the freedom of the body, etc., and the direct perception of the eye, etc., is fully understanding the effect. This is the explanation of the second branch. When the three of body, speech, and mind are accomplished and blessed as the nature of Vajra, in the two-by-two verses such as "Buddhas hold all, possessing auspiciousness," it is proclaimed to urge and pray to the assembly of deities of the Three Vajras. And the mantra, which is to contemplate the Samadhi heroes and the wisdom heroes of the Lord, such as Om (藏文:ༀ,梵文天城体:ॐ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡), each according to the differences of the lineage, this is contemplating the Lord of the mantra, which is the explanation of the third branch. When generating the great accomplishment, the yogi who possesses the Samadhi of the self-generated deity, joining the Vajra and Lotus and entering Samadhi, reciting "Vajra Drika," etc., contemplate the form of the great mudra of Vajradhara, which arises from one's own mantra, that is, Akshobhya, etc., and the topknot of the five Tathagatas.

For the crown, one should contemplate the great Vajradhara as the main deity. For the crowns of the remaining deities, one should contemplate Vairocana Buddha and others. This will lead to the accomplishment of the wisdom vajra siddhi. This is the explanation of the four branches. Here, it is said that the great Vajradhara is placed as the crown of the five Tathagatas, and in the "Condensed Explanation," it is said that Akshobhya is the crown of the five families. Does this contradict? There is no contradiction, because when Akshobhya is the main deity of the mandala, the great Vajradhara is inseparable from Akshobhya. Therefore, in the "Condensed Explanation," Akshobhya is established as the crown of the five families. The explanation here is that no matter which deity is the main deity, the great Vajradhara himself is considered to be the crown of the five families. This is the intention. Supreme practice is threefold: the concise explanation in the root tantra, the detailed explanation of the same in the subsequent tantra, and the clear explanation of the deity yoga of the two practices through scripture. The concise explanation of the six branches in the root tantra is: As stated in the subsequent tantra: "Through the distinction of common and supreme, practice becomes twofold. The ordinary is with four vajras, the supreme is with six branches." It is said that the common one is so called because the tantra, cause, and result are common. Among them, the common tantra is that it is also explained in other tantras such as the Hevajra. The common cause is the generation stage, which is the cause of common siddhis, and through it, it is also the cause of supreme siddhis. The common result is the four activities and the result that is common to worldly beings, such as flying in the sky. The supreme is so called because the tantra, cause, and result are not common. The uncommon tantra is that it is only explained in the unsurpassed tantras such as the Guhyasamaja. The uncommon cause is the union of the six branches, which is not practiced for worldly siddhis, but for the sake of the mahamudra siddhi alone. The uncommon result is the Vajradhara with eight powers that is not common to other vehicles.
