The fifth wind is the nature of space, the pervasive wind. Ah Hum is the source of the sixth wind, the clear light. The five winds are the five Tathagatas. The clear light is the sixth, the great Vajradhara. Thus, the six Sugatas, with the five winds and the clear light, are taught to lead beings to unite in union. Each of those winds possesses the Suchness of wind, namely the three of entering, abiding, and rising. The explanation of this is as follows: Om(ༀ,IAST: o, meaning: completeness), Shunyata(ཤཱུ་ནྱ་ཏ,IAST: śūnyatā, meaning: emptiness) union is the first. Jnana(ཛྙ་ན,IAST: jñāna, meaning: wisdom) Vajra(བཛྲ,IAST: vajra, meaning: diamond/thunderbolt) is the second. Svabhava(སྭ་བྷ,IAST: svabhāva, meaning: own-being/nature), Atma(ཨཱཏྨ,IAST: ātma, meaning: self), Ko Ham(ཀོ་ཧཾ,IAST: ko'ham, meaning: who am I) is the third. Here, these three Suchnesses are analyzed. These three Suchnesses are one. It is called the name of luminosity. Thus it is said. Om(ༀ,IAST: o, meaning: completeness), Shunyata(ཤཱུ་ནྱ་ཏ,IAST: śūnyatā, meaning: emptiness) is the first wind entering inward. Jnana(ཛྙ་ན,IAST: jñāna, meaning: wisdom) Vajra(བཛྲ,IAST: vajra, meaning: diamond/thunderbolt) is the second abiding inward. Svabhava(སྭ་བྷ,IAST: svabhāva, meaning: own-being/nature), Atma(ཨཱཏྨ,IAST: ātma, meaning: self), Ko Ham(ཀོ་ཧཾ,IAST: ko'ham, meaning: who am I) is the third rising outward. Such is the Suchness of wind, namely the three of entering, abiding, and rising. Here, each of the five winds is analyzed separately. These three Suchnesses are the three emptinesses. Their becoming one is called the name of luminosity, namely clear light. Having thus explained the Suchness of wind, if we explain the Suchness of mantra, the first verse shows the six syllables that are the cause of accomplishing the three root syllables. As follows: Om(ༀ,IAST: o, meaning: completeness) is the first, it is the letter O. Shunyata(ཤཱུ་ནྱ་ཏ,IAST: śūnyatā, meaning: emptiness) is Am. Jnana(ཛྙ་ན,IAST: jñāna, meaning: wisdom) is A. Vajra(བཛྲ,IAST: vajra, meaning: diamond/thunderbolt) is Ah, the fierce one. Svabhava(སྭ་བྷ,IAST: svabhāva, meaning: own-being/nature), Atma(ཨཱཏྨ,IAST: ātma, meaning: self), Ko(ཀོ་,IAST: ko, meaning: who) is the long A U. Aham(ཨ་ཧཾ,IAST: aham, meaning: I) is Ha. Such six letters are the seeds of the six Sugatas, so they are the six Sugatas. This is precisely what is taught to lead beings to unite in union. From such six letters, how the Suchness of mantra, namely the three root syllables, is transformed, the explanation of this is as follows: Om(ༀ,IAST: o, meaning: completeness), Shunyata(ཤཱུ་ནྱ་ཏ,IAST: śūnyatā, meaning: emptiness), by placing Am on Om(ༀ,IAST: o, meaning: completeness), it becomes Om(ༀ,IAST: o, meaning: completeness). Jnana(ཛྙཱ་ན,IAST: jñāna, meaning: wisdom) Vajra(བཛྲ,IAST: vajra, meaning: diamond/thunderbolt), by placing the fierce Ah on A, it becomes Ah with a strong caesura. Svabhava(སྭ་བྷ,IAST: svabhāva, meaning: own-being/nature), Atma(ཨཱཏྨ,IAST: ātma, meaning: self), Ko Ham(ཀོ་ཧཾ,IAST: ko'ham, meaning: who am I), by inserting the long A U into Ha, and then placing the previous Am, it becomes Hum. Here, it is analyzed how these six letters are transformed into the three root syllables of mantra. The Suchness of mantra, namely the three root syllables, is transformed into the nature of a single short A, because the short A pervades all letters. That short A is called the name of luminosity. Thus it is said: A is the most excellent of all letters, it is a sacred letter of great meaning.

I say unborn, all words are clear. Therefore, it is said. Secondly, the support of Vajra recitation, the yoga of the deity of union, is to contemplate and think of the mandala of the Buddha, which has the three solitudes as its preliminary, like an illusory body. How to contemplate? The appearance of the collection of the three appearances is condensed, so the light is like the arrangement of clouds. Like a rainbow, it is adorned with five lights such as white, so it is equal to the burning light of the Buddha. Because it is accomplished from the subtle realm, the five kinds of light pervade everywhere. Because it is the nature of all external and internal objects, it is completely round in all respects. Possessing five lights such as flowing, it is adorned with the five desirable qualities. Because it closely enjoys the objects, the five offerings are the five senses, and being adorned with them is for the sake of seeing all the objects. Such a mandala of the Buddha should be contemplated as residing in the center of the sphere of space, that is, absorbed in clear light. Having contemplated oneself as being absorbed in clear light in this way, one should rise again from the clear light. In short, in the form of a moment, one should contemplate oneself as the form of the great Vajradhara, that is, the nature of the body, separate from the sides of existence and non-existence such as samsara and nirvana. Having erected the Sambhogakaya of union from the clear light in this way, it is transformed into the Nirmanakaya of the nature of the five Tathagatas by the difference of the reciter, that is, "Vairochana great mudra" and so on. The explanation of these should be understood as in the case of the definitive meaning. Such a mandala of union abides in the Victorious One, that is, from the three subtle yogas described below, it shows that the benefit of sentient beings should be done through the door of Vajra recitation. After the illusory body is absorbed into the clear light, what is the cause of generating the Sambhogakaya of union? It is taught that the three appearances of reversal are with the winds. That is, from "Then the Bhagavan" to "Om Dharma Dhatu". The meaning of this is explained by the explanatory tantra as follows: Om should be known first, Dharma is called the second, Dhatu is said to be the third, Svabhava is called the fourth, Atma.
