Homage. The meaning of the chapter's title is: Vajra is the Tathagatas. Arrangement is where it gathers with this (Vajra), that is the chapter of Vajra Arrangement. Secondly, in terms of definitive meaning, there are three: detailed explanation of Vajra recitation, the meaning of the chapter's title, and proving it with scriptural evidence. First, the Suchness of Wind, which was previously explained in the ultimate subtle yoga, here the four protectors with the nature of four mandalas are clearly explained by dividing them into four natures separately. Therefore, it should be written, it should be understood. What is it? It is the space realm, that is, the moon mandala located in the center of luminosity, the source of wind, the indestructible bindu. The mandala of luminosity, that is, the wheel mandala located in the center of luminosity, arising from the indestructible, is the water mandala, the nature of Akshobhya, the color is white, and it flows slowly. It should be practiced, that is, its arising should be known. Like the lotus mandala is the fire mandala, the color is red. Practicing the lotus, that is, the nature of Amitabha, it should be known to arise from the right. Like the jewel mandala is the enriching mandala, the color is yellow. Through the diligence of the jewel, that is, the nature of Ratnasambhava, it should be known to arise from both. The combining mandala is the wind mandala, the color is black, like the sky, that is, the nature of Amoghasiddhi, it should be known to arise from the left. Like these four mandalas, each with nine hundred, when running, the union practitioner accomplishes the four activities of pacifying etc. through the method of Vajra recitation. Then, what does such Vajra recitation rely on to abide, thereby benefiting sentient beings to be tamed? These Vajra recitations are the most supreme among the Buddhas, the yoga of union is accomplished in body and speech, that is, in the indivisibility of the three bodies, manifesting as the body of the Great Vajradhara, thereby benefiting sentient beings to be tamed. If asked what cause does the union arise from? The answer is: it arises from the mandala Vajra. That is to say, the mandala of union arises from the Vajra, that is, from luminosity. Arising from luminosity, it should be known to be the deity mandala with the nature of the two truths.

Then, what is the purpose of performing Vajra recitation based on union? It is to attain the nature of omniscience, and those who wish to attain the state of omniscience do so. The meaning of the chapter title is: Vajra is the completely pure body of the deity, arrangement is assembly, therefore, the chapter that explains these is also called that. How do we know that performing Vajra recitation relies on abiding in union? This is confirmed by the prophecy of the Tathagata's intention: In the yoga without beginning or end, It is known as subtle, extremely observant, Unclear things are truly combined, Arising from the nature of non-reality, Self-existing, the first one, Abandoning one and various aspects, Known as the law of dependent arising, The source of all things. Having thus made the self-nature, One should draw the mandala of the Dharma, Red and black, as well as yellow, White is the true brief saying, Drawing with the combination of four fours, Drawing well the white clothes and so on, In its center, one's own deity, The supreme position of the four unions, Drawing the white clothes and so on as they are, Above, to the side, and directly below, Fire and wind, and great power, Water is each of their mandalas. Etc. Among them, the first two lines briefly explain abiding in the yoga of union and performing Vajra recitation. The remaining sentences explain in detail, that is, the first sentence explains from "Unclear things are truly combined" to "Having thus made the self-nature", and the following sentences explain from "mandala of the Dharma" onwards. So, what is the union that one relies on to perform Vajra recitation like? Unclear is the conventional truth, clear is the ultimate truth, the wisdom that truly combines these two without duality is union. So, from what cause does it arise? It truly arises from the nature of non-reality, that is, from luminosity. So, what is the nature of luminosity like? It is not newly created by causes and conditions, but from the beginning, that is, from the origin, it is self-existing and abiding, without distinction, therefore it is unique, since it is not truly established, therefore it abandons one and many, all internal and external things initially arise from it, and ultimately also

Merging, it becomes the single source of all things. How does the unified body arise from such luminosity? From luminosity arise three reversed appearances, which are known as dependent arising. From the three reversed appearances accompanied by wind arises the unified body, which is: one's own self acts in this way. Having abided in the unified body with such characteristics, one should perform the vajra recitation of the Dharma mandala, which is the nature of the four wind mandalas. What are these four mandalas? Fire, wind, great power, and water, each with its own mandala. Their colors, in order, are: red, black, yellow, and white, which is a brief summary. Each of these four skillful protectors should be properly drawn and meditated upon with the union of four wisdom goddesses, such as White-robed Mother. The reason why each mandala must have four goddesses is: through which means is the skillful protector established as wind? The four unions, that is, in the center of the four winds of the goddesses, one's own deity, that is, the wind of the protector, is the supreme position, running coarsely and running for a long time. Because the light pervades the retinue, the skillful protector is established as wind. How do the winds of the goddesses move? White-robed Mother is fire, Tara is wind, Eye-Mother is earth, and Mamaki is water, moving in order above, to the side, straight ahead, and below. The detailed meaning of these has already been explained in the context of speech silence. The explanation of the third chapter is complete.
