The first is: after the completion of the second chapter, connect with \"Thus spoke.\" Who spoke? Spoken by the Bhagavan, the Vajra of Body, Speech, and Mind, the Tathagata, the Great Vajradhara.

As it abides in the center of the realm of space, it is the mandala of the Buddhas such as Vairochana, and the wheel of the palace should be summarized. What is the nature of that palace like? "The arrangement of radiant clouds is vast," meaning it is pervaded by the assembly of radiant clouds of the gods. "Equal to the blazing light of the Buddhas" means that the colors of the four directions and the center are also similar to the colors of the five principal Buddhas. "Pervaded by the five kinds of light" means that the substance of that palace is made of five kinds of precious jewels. "Because everything is good, everything is completely round," because it is made of various precious jewels, the objects are good, and because it possesses qualities such as being square, it is good because it is manifest. "On the silk, the goddesses of mantras such as Vajra reside, pervaded by the five desirable qualities." "On that silk itself, adorned and embellished with the five kinds of offerings that show closeness to the gods." In short, the mandala of the supporting deity should be meditated upon in this way. Secondly, in conjunction with the generation of the supporting deity, in that palace, having made it bright with nectar, what makes it stable is Shunyata (Tibetan: ཤུ་ནྱ་ཏ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: शून्यता, Sanskrit Romanization: shunyata, Chinese literal meaning: emptiness) and so on. Awakening from suchness like that is "Abiding in the center of the realm of space." Then, awakening from the moon and so on, generating the body of the four principal yogis, and generating the supreme mandala is "Meditating on the Buddha mandala." How should the nature of those deities be meditated upon? "The arrangement of radiant clouds is vast," meaning that the principal and retinue deities related to that family abide in their respective places as they are. "Equal to the blazing light of the Buddhas" means that the retinue also has the same color as their principal deity. "Pervaded by the five desirable qualities," meaning that the forms, Vajra, and so on, are explained separately. The other three verses are not combined with the deity. In short, having meditated on the mandala of the supporting deity in this way, meditate on the subtle yoga that will appear below. Thirdly, there are three ways to extensively explain the mandala of the supporting deity. First, the repetition of each family lord, meditating on Vajradhara and so on in the center, is:
