The fifth is 'Ko'. It is desired that 'Ah Hum' becomes the sixth. After reciting this mantra, after that, one who possesses the nature of meditation meditates. Thus it is said. Om (藏文:ༀ,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:Om) is the life-holder. Dharma (藏文:དྷརྨ,梵文天城体:धर्म,梵文罗马拟音:dharma,汉语字面意思:Dharma) is the downward remover. Dhatu (藏文:དྷ་ཏུ,梵文天城体:धातु,梵文罗马拟音:dhātu,汉语字面意思:Element) is the upward runner. Nature) is co-existing with fire. Self) is the pervading wind. Ah Hum (藏文:ཨ་ཧཾ,梵文天城体:अहं,梵文罗马拟音:ahaṃ,汉语字面意思:I) is the clear light, the source of wind. These six separated ones, when combined, show the three appearances of reversal: the first two show the wisdom of near attainment, the middle two show the wisdom of appearance and increase, and the last two show the wisdom of appearance. 'After reciting this mantra' means that the meaning of the mantra, the three appearances of reversal together with wind, are made manifest. After that, establishing the union as the Sambhogakaya is 'one who possesses the nature of meditation meditates.' This is the definitive meaning. Second, showing the actual subtle yoga is divided into two parts: the general meaning and the meaning of the limbs. First, there are six aspects: the essence, the divisions, the definition, the way of training, the measure of complete training, and the showing of benefits. Among these, the essence of subtle yoga itself is the distinction of samadhi that trains the mind. If divided, there are two: relying on the upper gate and relying on the lower gate. Relying on the lower gate also has two: meditating on the bindu in the lower gate and meditating on the sign of the deity. Meditating on the sign in the lower gate is, as said in the sixth chapter: 'Like the color of a blue lotus, especially with five tips, diligently like a barley grain, contemplate on the tip of the nose. Like a chickpea grain, with eight petals and filaments, know this on the tip of the nose, if meditated upon, it will grant enlightenment.' Thus it is said. The definition of subtle yoga is: because it focuses on the subtle and difficult to understand, it is subtle yoga. Because one trains on the sign of one's own deity, about the size of a white mustard seed or a barley grain, and the bindu of the mind of enlightenment, which are difficult to understand. The way of training is: first, in order to stabilize the mind, one trains to stabilize the sign on the tip of the nose. Then, one trains in generating and withdrawing the meditation that has become empowered. That is, first one trains in the generating and withdrawing of the sign, later the deity.

One should train in expanding and contracting. There are two levels of complete training: the sign of touch and the sign of sight. The benefit of completion is: gaining the ability to control one's own mind, thereby obtaining all worldly and transworldly accomplishments. Second, regarding the meaning of the limbs, there are three. First, the outer meaning is: add the word "meditation." Who meditates? It is the yogi who has perfected single-pointed mindfulness and is extremely devoted inwardly. Why meditate? To stabilize one's own mind. What to meditate on? It is the precious great treasure, such as the vajra, which is the attribute of one's own deity. Moreover, it has five colors related to the five families, and its size is about the size of a white mustard seed. Where to meditate? In the supreme mandala established with one's own chosen deity as the main deity, on the tip of the main deity's nose, on the disc of the sun and moon, which is about the size of a fingernail. The time is to meditate diligently day and night. By meditating in this way, the signs of touch and sight will arise. If the precious jewels of the attributes such as the vajra become stable, one will know that through meditation one can become immovable, and one should expand in order to generate control over meditation. If it is not stable, that is, if one desires to meditate, one should not expand. Having mastered the expansion and contraction of signs in this way, in order to practice skills in samadhi, one should train in the expansion and contraction of the deity that arises from the transformation of subtle signs. To illustrate this, add the word "expand." What expands? It is the supreme cloud, which is the assembly of one's own chosen deities that arises from the transformation of signs. How to expand? The color is: like the light of a burning Buddha, that is, having colors such as white that correspond to one's own family. The attributes are: holding weapons such as the wheel in their hands, which correspond to one's own family. Not only the Tathagatas, but also the great clouds of Bodhisattvas. That is, the deities of the five families, such as Bodhisattvas, goddesses, and wrathful deities, should also be expanded by the practitioner who possesses the nature of expansion, filling the sky and covering it. This shows the subtle yoga that relies on the upper gate. Second, from the hidden meaning, the lower gate.
