Thus, with the nine postures of dance such as coquetry, the five desirable qualities are practiced at will in ways with elaboration, without elaboration, and extremely without elaboration, which is the proximate cause for quickly producing the fruit of accomplishment with and without characteristics, hence it is called the cause. Here, the cause is shown first in order to make the conduct of detachment, tranquility, and order compatible. From the order of meaning, empowerment appears in the first word shown, making the continuum of the maturing path empowerment mature, from the path of liberation, practicing the two stages of meditation, learning the conduct of the proximate cause, thereby obtaining the fruit of the Great Seal accomplishment. The third ornament, explaining the six limits, has two aspects: connecting and actual explanation. The first is: Although the ornament is the third, the six limits spoken of from the conduct of the Yoga Tantra, after being determined by words, should be well understood by elaborating on their meaning. Thus it is said. The second has two aspects: briefly showing by name, and separately explaining the characteristics of each in detail, the first of which is: Straightforward and definitive meaning, explained by intention and non-intention, just as it is, sound and non-sound, know that the limits are six. Thus it is said. The six limits are: relying on the limit and ultimate, this is a limit because it relies on the limit. There are three of these, namely relying on the limit of meaning, relying on the limit of words, and relying on the limit of both word and meaning. Among these, the two, straightforward meaning and definitive meaning, rely on the limit of meaning, because the Vajra word shows the two contradictory aspects of the generation stage and the completion stage with one word. For example, the sound called Vajradhrik (བཛྲ་དྷྲྀག་,梵文:vajra dhṛk,梵文罗马拟音:vajra dhṛk, 金刚持), in straightforward meaning, goes to holding the five-pronged vajra, and in definitive meaning, goes to holding the wisdom of union, one's own nature. The two, intention and non-intention, rely on the limit of words, because the two sounds show the two contradictory aspects of the generation stage and the completion stage. Among these, the two, straightforward meaning and definitive meaning, straightforward meaning definitely shows only the generation stage, and definitive meaning definitely shows only the completion stage. The two, intention and non-intention, mostly show the completion stage, and also show the generation stage. Because the sound is not as it is, it mostly shows the completion stage, the generation

There are also teachings on the stages. Mostly, the generation stage is taught according to the literal meaning, and there are also teachings on the completion stage. If a word has two meanings, then it is provisional and definitive. Whether teaching the generation stage or the completion stage, if there is a contradiction in the meaning of the words, then it is an interpretation of hidden meaning. If there is no contradiction in the meaning of the words, then it is not a hidden meaning. If there is a single explanation of the words used, then it is not a literal meaning. If a word is commonly used in the ordinary world, then it is a literal meaning. There are six ways to explain each definition in detail. The first is the provisional meaning: For those with bad fortune, the Victorious One spoke in a hidden way, that is the meaning of provisional. That is, for those with bad fortune who are not suitable vessels for the completion stage, the definitive meaning is hidden, and the meaning of the generation stage is taught, which is called provisional meaning. The second is the definitive meaning: In order to fully show the true meaning, the definitive meaning is also spoken. For those who are suitable vessels for the completion stage, the vajra words that teach the provisional meaning not only teach the generation stage, but also fully show the true completion stage, therefore it is called the definitive meaning. The third is the interpretation of hidden meaning: For the sake of sentient beings who desire the supreme, to fully show the suchness of the Dharma, by combining contradictory words, whatever is spoken is the interpretation of hidden meaning. For the sake of sentient beings with sharp faculties who desire the supreme, using contradictory words as a way to express the meaning, to fully show the hidden meaning of the suchness of the Dharma, the completion stage, this is called the interpretation of hidden meaning. The fourth is the non-hidden meaning: For the sake of sentient beings with inferior faculties, in order to realize it, by being extremely clear, to definitely show the suchness, this is explained by non-hidden meaning. That is, in order for sentient beings with inferior faculties who are suitable vessels for the profound Dharma to realize the suchness of the Dharma, using extremely clear words that are in accordance with the meaning, mainly showing the suchness of the Dharma, such as clear light, union, etc., this is called explanation by non-hidden meaning. The fifth is the literal meaning: The details of the mandala and other rituals, how the actions are spoken, whatever is a detailed explanation of the meaning, that is spoken as the literal word. That is, to meticulously perform the rituals, how to draw the mandala from the tantras, and how the actions of dots, colors, fire offerings, tormas, etc., are spoken.
