Therefore, it is divided by distinguishing. The supreme accomplishment of non-dual wisdom also arises from practicing the stages of the path. In order to differentiate it from that, to fully state and reveal what is to be expressed is called a 'section'. 'Section' is 'Pariccheda', because this treatise that expresses meaning completely determines and reveals the meaning to be expressed, it is therefore a 'section'. Among these, the first three are the power to produce fruit, and the latter is the power to express what is to be expressed. Furthermore, 'the treatise itself is the number,' which also shows the measure of the tantra. Therefore, it should be known that the seventeen rituals, seventeen chapters, and seventeen sequential divisions are seventeen 'sections.' If asked what is the necessity of the need? 'The need is also what is to be explained, the rituals of pacifying and other activities, as well as the eight accomplishments, and also the supreme Buddha.' That is to say, there are two fundamental needs: mundane and supramundane. The mundane is also divided into two: the inferior four activities of pacifying and so on, and the supreme eight great accomplishments. The supramundane is the supreme Buddha, which is the great Vajradhara of non-dual wisdom, and these are the fundamental needs here. The second ornament, the four modes, is divided into two: briefly stating through a connecting preliminary, and separately explaining the respective natures in detail. The first is, 'The beginning has already been discussed, and the second will also be explained, the tantras and the basis of discussion, the definitive words and the cause.' The second is to separately explain the respective natures in detail, divided into two: the way of attaining Buddhahood without attachment, and the way of attaining Buddhahood with attachment. The first is, in general, the main beings to be tamed by the Buddha are gods and humans. If one attains Buddhahood relying on the basis of a god, one cannot benefit humans, because humans cannot go to the realm of the gods. If one attains Buddhahood relying on the basis of a human, one can benefit the gods, because the gods can go to the human realm. Therefore, to show that attaining Buddhahood requires a special cause, that is, being born in a human rebirth, it is said: 'Being born in a human rebirth is said to be a tantra.' Even if born in a human lineage, one cannot attain Buddhahood if one remains in a household
