He does not engage in any practices of clinging or gazing, etc. He does not listen to the confessions of others, and he does not have the fault of angrily rebuking others. After the great master passed away in Tsang, when the two Dharma Kings went to Radreng, one day, while in retreat, Dharma King Lotsāwa asked Dharma King Lobsang Drakpa: "You and your father have been in strict retreat here for two or three months, and have had many Dharma conversations. What uncommon qualities does Drung Rinpoche possess?" He replied: "The qualities of the Lama are that he possesses the three qualities of being learned, disciplined, and virtuous, and that he is free from yogis who are not in accordance with the Dharma." He asked again: "Not those, are there any other uncommon qualities? Please tell me." He replied: "The smallest quality of the Lama is that, since he stopped teaching and studying in Sakya and met in Bulrong, he has never had a single instance of anger or quarrel." After saying this, tears welled up. Dharma King Lotsāwa also shed tears and cried out, I heard. He does not have the fault of abandoning the Great Vehicle and teaching what appears to be the true Dharma. Because he does not have a reversed understanding of the Great Vehicle Madhyamaka and Cittamatra, including the Vajrayana. He has not committed the fault of transforming afflictions into the path, and he has not touched the vows of the Vidyadhara, and he has mostly not been stained by the fourteen root downfalls and the eight branch downfalls. Even if one or two occurred, he would confess and take vows before the time had passed. Therefore, the intention and practice of the Great Vehicle training have not diminished. Thus. His bodily conduct is unartificial, free from pretense. His speech conduct is unartificial, free from flattery, sweet talk, theft, and deception. His mind conduct is unartificial, free from mental agitation, etc. He is content with whatever arises, and whatever he does, he is happy, and he engages in vast and free conduct. He abandons this life and makes practice the essence. He meditates on the two truths, dependent origination, the six perfections, and the two stages. He attains the supreme accomplishment of Mahamudra. I prostrate to you, the pure practitioner. The reason why I rely on solitude is not because I am annoyed by retinues and friends, or because I desire gain, honor, and fame.

Yes. Otherwise, because the suffering of samsara is seen as unbearable like a pit of fire. It is like this: the perfections of existence are very small, and from the state of being endowed with many faults, in order to liberate oneself and others from the ocean of existence, I, who have heard much, go to a solitary place. Just as a sparrow desiring rain hears the sound of thunder, this talk of solitude falls into my heart. In order to make the meaning of what has been heard meaningful, the young wise one goes to a solitary place. Just as a flock of geese sees a lotus lake, my mind is very drawn to a remote place. In order to take the essence from this leisure and endowment body, the young wise one goes to a solitary place. Just as a young bee sees a garden of a hundred petals, my mind is attached to the taste of solitude. In order to taste the nectar of samadhi, the young wise one goes to a solitary place. Just as the cool Malaya wind in spring, the medicinal landscape of the forest falls into my heart. In order to destroy the army of the maras of affliction, the young wise one goes to a solitary place. Having said this, he submitted requests to serve as the Sakya centurion and the Khenpo of Zangden, and for eighteen years he contemplated the Dharma, engaging in teaching and listening. He said, 'In my old age, I will not enter any monastic community.' Abandoning all the perfections of this life, he went to practice in the solitary place of Yulong Dorje Dzong at the snow-neck of Gangbu Mekarpo Snow Mountain. During the five years of single-pointed practice, he meditated on the Shravaka's meditation, which establishes the absence of self of the individual, meditating on the sixteen moments of the Four Noble Truths, impermanence, etc. He meditated on the Pratyekabuddha's meditation, which establishes the absence of self of phenomena, meditating on the twelve links of dependent origination in forward and reverse order. He meditated on the Bodhisattva's meditation, which establishes the absence of self of the apprehended phenomena, meditating on the six perfections with the three spheres completely pure. He meditated on the Vidyadhara's meditation, which transforms afflictions into the path, meditating on generation and completion as union, and thus attained the supreme siddhi of Mahamudra. The yogi always abides in the Vajra body, it is a limb of the complete samadhi, that is called Vajrasattva, it is the supreme empowerment of the Sugatas.
