Burn the imprints of the five senses. From the foreheads, throats, and hearts of all the deities, White, red, and blue rays of light and flames emanate, Burning the three obscurations and imprints of body, speech, and mind. Burn (342) and purify the form of the deceased's body. The mind becomes a spotless white syllable A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Chinese literal meaning: A). With the realization of the heart of the root and lineage gurus, With the wisdom of the heart of the mandala deities, With the realization of the yogi's own practice, Melt the mindstream of the deceased into one inseparable whole. Connect with those who have a connection, call out to Karmapa, etc. From the state of practice and view, call out from afar. The formless and soundless within the Heart Sutra, After uttering the intermediate phrase without Dharma, Recite and burn Kamkani and the root essence. Then, when reciting the Precious Jewels, etc., That syllable A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Chinese literal meaning: A) consciousness next to the east gate, Raise it higher and higher, between oneself and the front, Place it on a moon seat in the space realm. Then, at this boundary of showing the path, cut off doubts, Because the main deity of the mandala is Vairochana, In the densely arrayed pure land of Vairochana, The meaning of not making the thought of showing the path is, It is impossible to be born there without attaining the eighth bhumi. Because the activity deity is Vajrasattva (343), And because the deceased is generated as Vajrasattva, Although it is appropriate to show the path in the Abhirati pure land, One will not be born there except for a Bodhisattva who has attained the bhumis. As the basis for discussing the purification continuum, the Immaculate Youth, In order to lead from the Avici hell to the heavenly realm, Although it is appropriate to show the path in the Tushita heaven, Even if born there, there is a possibility of falling back. Except for those who have committed the five heinous crimes and abandoned the sacred Dharma, If one makes aspirations, one can be born, And after being born there, one will not regress, Because it is the power of Amitabha's aspiration, It is stated in both the Amitabha Sutra and the Pure Land Sutra. The meaning of this mandala being connected to that pure land is, The Bhagavan Great Vairochana, Is said to be an emanation of Avalokiteshvara. In reality, it is the mandala of Avalokiteshvara. For those who have a great connection with Avalokiteshvara, It is said, "I will lead them to Sukhavati," A vow (344) is made in the presence of Amitabha. Although there are countless emanations of Avalokiteshvara, The actual body always resides in Sukhavati. That meaning is extensively explained in many sutras. In short

It is clearly recorded in the Achen Kagyu teachings. Because it is related to this mandala, guide here. These are also the words of the Drum Sound King Dharani: From here to the west, there is the pure land of Amitabha. Whoever holds his name, it is said that he will be reborn in that supreme pure land. Deceased son of lineage, you also hold the name of Amitabha, and go to that supreme pure land. Guide with these words. The letter A on the moon in the sky is the consciousness of the deceased. Visualize that it is inseparable from the empowerment wisdom hero, and visualize yourself as the Kunrig self-generation deity, thinking of the body as tall as Mount Sumeru, and blowing a breath from the nostrils, like the fierce end-of-kalpa wind, blowing on the moon and the letter A, like a cloudless clear shooting star, quickly reaching the Land of Bliss, in front of Amitabha, absorbed into the lotus womb. Lotuses and others emerge from the mud, and when the mantra is finished, rest for a moment in the view of non-objectivity. Immediately after that, transform into a golden body with marks and signs, becoming a person with the appearance of a monk. With the power of remembering past lives, remembering and knowing, remember the kindness of the master, like a flash of lightning, come to the sky in front, and especially say "Ema, O", etc., after making thanks and offerings, think again of going to the Great Bliss Pure Land. Thinking of these in your heart, recite the scriptures until "Gacchantu". After that, expand with dedication, while reciting the root mantra of Bodhicitta, build or have people build tsatsas, and send them to a place that is not afraid of water (346). The subsequent rituals can be done according to the scriptures. At the urging of Lama Tsondu Gyatso, I wrote it down, on the full moon of the Jyestha month and the first day of the head dragon month at dawn in the Wood Snake year (1905), said by Ra ga A syas. Although there are not many quotations, because it is consistent with the oral tradition of the masters and the scriptures, there is no doubt. May future Geshes and practitioners rely on this to benefit sentient beings, may it be vast and uninterrupted. Chapter Twenty-one is auspicious and complete. From the Oral Instructions of Mountain Dharma Retreat, Abridged Version of Introduction to Bardo Hearing Liberation. Namo Maha Karunika Ye.
