Horse year, eleventh day of the royal month, at dusk. After the cremation, the victorious speaker appeared, a righteous sage of the degenerate age, Raga Asya. The scribe was also Vira Sagara. ༈. Homage to Guru Vajrapani. The conduct of the body is similar to the Kriya Tantra, and both the samadhi of the mind are practiced. Therefore, it is called the Conduct Tantra. The conduct of the body is similar to the Kriya Tantra, and the samadhi is somewhat similar to the Yoga Tantra. Therefore, some consider it a combination of the two. Water and headdress, silk hanging above the empowerment, vajra bell and dorje requesting the empowerment of the name, (301) requesting the subsequent permission, entrustment, practice, and transmission of mantras. Then, mandala, painted images, offerings, etc., are no different from the Kriya Tantra. In practice, there is no need for silence and fasting. The eight-limbed Uposatha is performed daily. There is no need for a single seat, and white food and dusk can be interrupted. The meaning of this is stated in the commentary on the Mahamaya, that the afternoon food of fasting is abandoned. As it is said, the upasatha of lay people and, here, the eight-limbed Uposatha, the way of guarding is similar, but the meaning is different. It is said in the Vinaya that the eight-limbed upasatha must be obtained from the Khenpo, and cannot be taken by oneself in front of the support. For this Uposatha, it is best to have a Khenpo, but if not, it is taken in front of the support every day. It is said in the Vinaya that the eight-limbed upasatha, because it is the precept of lay people, monks cannot guard it (302), and if they guard it, it is said that it will harm the monastic vow. This eight-limbed Uposatha, even if it is a one-day precept, is the precept of the Mahayana Conduct Tantra. If the celibate upasaka Bande guards it, all the subtle faults of the upasaka, in fact, because it is the Uposatha of the upasaka, it is called the eight-limbed Uposatha. The meaning of Uposatha is to nourish virtue and purify sins, hence it is called Uposatha. Similarly, when a novice monk and a fully ordained monk practice silence and fasting, performing white deeds, all the transgressions of the precepts are restored, and the discipline becomes pure, as it is said in the tantras. Therefore, lay people guarding the upasatha, and

Keeping the eight branches of fasting, The methods of keeping are similar, but the meanings are different, Please know that Sutra and Tantra are different. Then, in front of the mandala, oneself is, Taking refuge, generating Bodhicitta, offering (303), blessings, etc., After doing as in the Action Tantra, Purify with the mantra of स्वाहा(藏文 སྭ་བྷཱ་ཝ་,梵文天城体 स्वभाव,梵文罗马拟音 svabhāva,literal meaning: self-nature). From the state of emptiness, on top of a lotus sun or lotus moon, The seed syllable of one's own mind emits light, After doing the two benefits, the light rays gather back, Visualize the seed syllable marked with hand symbols and letters. That deity makes a mudra and recites the mantra, The hand symbol dissolves into light, and one meditates on oneself as the Yidam. According to the individual realizations of ornaments and attire, Bless the three places with the three syllables ཨོཾ་(藏文 ཨོཾ་,梵文天城体 ॐ,梵文罗马拟音 oṃ,literal meaning: Om)、ཨཱཿ(藏文 ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体 आः,梵文罗马拟音 āḥ,literal meaning: Ah)、ཧཱུྃ་(藏文 ཧཱུྃ་,梵文天城体 हूँ,梵文罗马拟音 hūṃ,literal meaning: Hum), As the essence of body, speech, and mind.
