Uncertain sequences, lengths, anything can occur. Suffering, complaints, and so on, due to a single cause, Good experiences of bliss-clarity (174) and non-thought vanish like a rainbow. The initial wildness and distraction increase like the seasons, Anger, rage, quarrels, and discursive thoughts, Greed, miserliness, craving for food and clothing, and so on, become greater than before, and words become shorter. That is the coarse experience, a request for purifying obscurations. At that time, recognize it and relax the body and mind. Looking at the essence greatly increases the benefit. At this time, understand that the root of all dharmas is the mind. Realize the essence of the mind as emptiness. The essence of the mind is view and practice, Seeming to have a seer and something to be seen separately. There is a conviction of self-confidence. The four, bliss-clarity non-thought experience and coarse experience, arise alternately like the spring sun. Sometimes there is dullness, haziness, unclearness, darkness. Even when looking, the clear-empty essence is not seen, Dissatisfied, the mind is filled with weariness. At that time, tighten the posture of the body, Look with a sharp gaze, staring intently (175). Likewise, when the mind looks at the mind, Like dirt rising in muddy water, Without identifying "what is this" as a thought, Some vague and fleeting things arise in the mind. That is also called the dirt of the mind. It is also called the subtle movement of the subtle. In any direction, left, right, front, etc., Stare intently with a sharp gaze, Observe the essence and shorten the duration of observation. By doing this repeatedly, Awareness becomes sharp and the dirt of the mind clears. This is the supreme pacifying instruction of the holy ones. Like this, at the time of the bliss-clarity non-thought experience, Let go of worldly affairs with the mind, Suppress the heads of the five poisonous emotions, Although seeming to treat the eight worldly dharmas equally, It cannot last, and great changes will occur. For example, when a white lion walks, Like jumping a distance and looking back, Likewise, when the mind (176) looks at the mind, It is called the samadhi of the majestic lion. That meditation is like meditating internally. To combine bliss-clarity and non-thought, The mind abides in one-pointedness, so it is called one-pointedness. The three, large, medium, and small, depend on the size of the habit, And the difference between stability and instability, etc. Of the two, shamatha and vipassana, it is shamatha

The ground is the most important. This is how new meditators practice. For example, the roar of a blue swamp lion, Although it has not obtained the lineage of the white lion, But because it is a lion species, it suppresses with its claws. Adorned with strange signs of bravery and a red mane. Similarly, this song during single-pointedness, Although it has not obtained the actual realization of Mahamudra and Dzogchen, It suppresses those who are overwhelmed by words and concepts. Adorned with strange signs of bravery and burning devotion to the Guru. This is how new meditators practice. The roar of the blue swamp lion (page 177), During the meditation session on the twenty-fourth of the auspicious month of the Horse year, Spoken by Ra Ga A Syas after it arose in experience. Recorded by Birya Sagara. ༈ Namo Mahamudraye. Sanskrit Romanization: Namo mahāmudrāye, Literal Chinese meaning: Homage to Mahamudra) If you constantly practice in solitude, The appearance of experience is like a summer meadow. All external appearances such as mountains, rocks, and walls, Their essence is unestablished, all is emptiness. Even if running and jumping, I think there is no obstruction. If touched by hand, the earth appears hard as usual. Even if sitting in full lotus posture and flying into the sky, I think my body is unestablished and unobstructed. Even at the height of an elbow, I cannot rise a span. Mind and space are inseparably merged into one. How space pervades, so does awareness pervade, How awareness pervades, so does Dharmakaya pervade, I think the actual fusion is this. There is a grasping of fusion and pervasion. If you stare intently at that grasping, The grasping of pervasion and non-pervasion (page 178), fusion and non-fusion, The thought naturally subsides, and an inexpressible experience arises. Previously, due to attachment and clinging to the experience of bliss and clarity, One is lost in the desire realm and the form realm. At this time, mind and space merge, Like space is infinite, so is mind infinite. Mind is neither existent nor non-existent, Apart from mind, there is not a single dharma. There is nothing at all in the mind. These thoughts enter into their respective grasping. Due to the fault of clinging to definite cognition in the mind, One is lost in the four formless realms. Before that, no matter how good the experience and realization are, No matter how high the realization is, It is a change of experience, not realization. Emaho! The wisdom of bliss-emptiness Mahamudra, And the two situations of being lost in the six realms of desire, Similar, similar, similar, with only a slight difference. Blissful!
