Each (184) is further divided into three aspects, Which can be easily understood through the wisdom mentioned above. Then, how does realization arise? Is it through the blessings of devotion, supplication, and effort? Or the supreme accomplishment of achieving the Yidam? Or the power of accumulating great merit? Or the awakening of karma from past lives? The previous experiences and realizations shed like a husk. The object of meditation, the meditator, and clinging vanish into the expanse. There is no this meditation, that meditation, not even a single focus. There is no this is, that is, a fixed clinging to certainty. There is no appearance of drawing inward to look. There is no appearance of clarity by looking outward. There is no appearance of a separate seer and seen. That itself dissolves, there is no this way of seeing, that way of seeing. The seer and the seen merge into one. There is no this is, that is, this thought, that thought. A state of natural silence arises. At that time, no dualistic thoughts or doubts arise. It is completely different from before, what is this? (185) It is not the view of Heshang! The view of emptiness, being stunned, is "U"! The previous meditation, having abandoned it, is "U"! Because there is no this meditation, that meditation, nothing at all, No meditation, is "Am," realization, is "U"! It would be good to have a place to write down great experiences, Many rough and cluttered thoughts come to mind. If one has little learning, one might think my meditation is lost. The previous bliss, clarity, non-conceptual good experiences, Thinking if such will come again, even if meditating, It won't come like a coward, feeling discouraged and miserable. If greed is great, one might think there is realization without meditation. Thinking of benefiting beings, one might be carried away by distraction. Then, rely on the Lama of the Sugata's teachings, The teachings and lineages of the Kagyu forefathers, etc., By imitating, doubts in the mind are cut. Seeing the nature of one's own mind is the real thing. It is also called ordinary naked awareness. It is also called the face-to-face meeting of the unelaborated smallness. For example, like the third-day moon, Although small, it is definitely a moon (186). Even though the power of experience and realization has not yet grown, The realization of Mahamudra has arisen. It is said that from here one also obtains the name of a realized one. After that, even though the essence does not change, There is some clarity and dimness. The part of experience is small, the part of realization is large. Experience is not completely pure, Now there will still be many occurrences of clarity and dimness in experience. When cultivating practice with unwavering, one-pointed attention.

Dwelling in equality, without inner or outer, Without distraction, only a mindful awareness. This meditation is effortless and free. Whatever forms are seen in the field of the eyes, Like a child entering a temple, Though seen by the eyes, there is no grasping at this or that. The great seal of appearance and emptiness truly dawns. In the field of the ears, pleasant and unpleasant sounds, Without joy or displeasure, like an echo in the rocks, The great seal of sound and emptiness truly dawns. Smells, tastes, and tactile sensations are also mingled with it (187). When practicing without distraction, it is like this, When distracted, the five poisons of ordinary delusion arise. At this time, all worldly activities should be abandoned, Do not engage in contrived actions, reduce Dharma activities to a minimum. If you practice with single-pointedness, the benefit is great, If there are many contrived actions, the experience is more likely to fade. The experience is sometimes present, mostly absent, Except when sleeping, interacting with the surrounding environment, Sleep and dreams are sometimes grasped, sometimes not. Effortlessness is definitely small, medium, or large. Whatever external forms, sounds, smells, tastes may arise, Like a lion seizing a snow mountain, Do not allow thoughts of fear, dread, or terror to enter, Therefore, it is called the Samadhi of Courageous Conduct. In essence, it is desired to realize the selflessness of the individual, Because mind and self are essentially one, Realize that the nature of mind is free from arising, ceasing, and abiding. For the thing called self and mind (188), Be certain that it does not exist, gain confidence and conviction, Establish that there is no Dharmakaya other than the nature of mind. Therefore, in essence, there is selflessness of the individual. The selflessness of the individual is half of emptiness, Even though the inner nature of mind is determined, The outer appearances are not yet determined, Therefore, there is no clinging to emptiness or non-emptiness. Then, the method of determining appearances is: All beings, such as earth, stones, mountains, and rocks, Tents, houses, men, women, and animals, Whatever is seen by the eyes, focus awareness on it, Looking at its essence, they merge into one without distinction. The outer form and the inner nature of mind, An experience arises in which there is no separation. If you are accustomed to this, you do not need to meditate with focus. Whatever arises naturally from what is seen, go along with that state. Then, the four continents and the three thousand worlds, Visualize them in your mind and meditate until they merge without distinction. Likewise, meditate by mixing mind and space (189), This space and this mind
