The meaning of Dongdrug. That is the inner Vajrasattva meditation recitation. On the lotus sun above one's own head. From Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ) appears the Lama Vajrasattva Heruka. Body color white, one face, three eyes. Wrathful smile, hair standing upwards, adorned with skull ornaments. Holding a vajra and holding a skull cup at the heart. Bone ornaments, tiger skin skirt, elephant raw hide worn. The consort is Vajra Nyemma, body color red. Naked, bone ornaments, in union inseparable with the father. In a dancing posture, either right bent, left extended dance. Residing in the midst of a swirling fire of self-light. At the heart, on the moon, Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ) surrounded by mantra. All the lamas, yidams, and dakinis. Invited and absorbed, the bliss of the father and mother increases. (125) At the juncture of union, the stream of bodhicitta flows down and enters the Brahma aperture. The whole body is cleansed of sins and obscurations, and bliss and warmth blaze. Om Shri Heruka Sattva Samaya. Like that, the hundred-syllable mantra of Heruka. Or Om Ah Guru Vajra Sattva Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ). After reciting either of those two as much as possible. Protector, I, through ignorance and delusion. Have violated and broken the vows. Lama Protector, please protect me. Chief Vajra Holder, ah. Possessing great compassion. I take refuge in the chief of beings. Lama Vajrasattva dissolves into light and merges into me. That is the secret Vajrasattva meditation recitation. The intention of the old and new Kama Kagyu lineages. From the state of non-objectification, oneself in an instant. Vajrasattva, peaceful and smiling, with one face. Adorned with the five families as a headdress, complete with precious ornaments. Holding a vajra and resting a bell on the hip. White silk upper garment, lower skirt, in a dancing posture. Seated on a lotus moon elephant (126) eight throne. At the heart, on a full moon, at the end of the letter Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ). The hundred-syllable mantra is like a string of stars. From that, light radiates to all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Invited and absorbed into the mantra garland, turning to the right. A stream of nectar descends, filling my body completely. Sins, obscurations, diseases, and evil spirits from the pores of the hair. Black and sticky, they come out, and I myself. Meditate that I am purified of impurities like a crystal egg. Recite the hundred-syllable mantra or the essence mantra as much as possible. Afterwards, recite Argham etc., and offer the self-generation. Vajrasattva, great being. Vajra, the first, Samantabhadra. Vajra, all the Tathagatas. I prostrate to Vajra.

To Vajrasattva. Abiding in the state of non-departure and non-objectification of wisdom, seven hundred and twenty deities gather, with a hundred lineages in total. When the hundred lineages are gathered, there are twenty-five lineages. When the twenty-five are gathered, they are the five Buddha families. When the five families are unified, (127) one family is Vajrasattva. If this is accomplished, then all Buddhas are accomplished. Gathering the meaning of all the peaceful and wrathful deities of the Eight Commands, it is the meditation and recitation of the most secret Vajrasattva. All phenomena depend on infallible dependent origination, which is the supreme and profound method for purifying sins. Both sin and confession are conventional truths. In the ultimate truth, there is no sin or confession. Sin and transgression are originally non-existent. In that primordially pure realm of Dharma, virtue does not benefit, and sin does not harm. Even if burned in hell, one does not fall into evil. Even if one becomes fully enlightened, one does not become better. Like the sky, one is not stained by anything. Free from the elaboration of the object of confession, the act of confession, and the confessor. If one realizes this meaning, it is the confession of meaning. The meaning of the first chapter of the Stainless Confession Tantra. If one wishes to practice this meaning, then look at the mind with the mind and relax and abide there. (128) That meaning is also from the mouth of Tilopa: "Even the darkness accumulated for a thousand kalpas, just as a single lamp can dispel it, so in a single moment of realizing the clear light of self-awareness, the ignorance and obscurations accumulated for kalpas are burned. This is called the 'Lamp of the Teachings'." Such words are also spoken with this in mind. When one's own mind is free from destruction and annihilation, if one understands it well, it is the Vajra of Meaning. That itself is well meditated upon with the mind, which is the Vajrasattva of Meaning. Do not seek from others, protect the nature of your own mind. That alone is the meditation and recitation of Vajrasattva. Thus, the outer, inner, secret, and most secret, and the Thusness Vajrasattva, five meditations and recitations. If practiced, the root of sins and transgressions will be cut off. The human body is meaningful, going from happiness to happiness. The signs of this are physical and mental well-being, clarity of awareness, renunciation, faith, and realization arising spontaneously. In dreams (129) one bathes, wears new white clothes, drinks nectar and milk, and flies in the sky. Such pure appearances will appear immeasurably. This little song of purification, on the evening of the fifth day of the waxing moon of the Horse Year's Gyal month, ra ga a
