One cannot stop the rain oneself, causing trouble for monks and others responsible for carrying rain gear, diseases strike or disasters occur, many inauspicious omens and nightmares appear, the heart is dejected, fearful, and ashamed, feeling indebted to the deities, the mind is distressed, viewing shame as its essence. Abandon wrong views about deities and teachings. Many great saints such as Situpa Chokyi Gyaltsen also contemplated the history of failing to stop the rain during major events. Do not stay in one place for long, but go to sacred mountains, sacred lakes, springs, and other places, practice generosity, cultivate loving-kindness and emptiness. Mantra lineage's rain-calling and disease-curing practices, take appropriate actions according to the situation, whether effective or not, practice in places like cemeteries. Be happy when it rains, and remain calm when it doesn't, without being saddened. Walking in dangerous places is sufficient. This is the fifth chapter of mountain walking. Again, one must live and practice diligently, following the secret practice of Naropa, walking at night in cemeteries, village edges, and other places, performing curses. Such situations are often seen and heard. Performing Chod near the cemetery is sufficient. Corpses of young people who were forcibly killed, killed by knives, or strangled, are disturbed by ghouls, causing great terror. Young people also tremble with fear. Women and children have difficulty urinating in the dark. Village lamas also go to such places. There is great concern about monkeys and homes. Corpses and lamas are placed together. Close relatives who die are also infected. Like leprosy, fingers fall off. In summer, a rotting smell is emitted, and when the wind blows, one almost vomits. The corpse is increased with defilement, or due to diseases without purification rituals, the corpse swells up like a yak. Sounds like cutting the throat are emitted from the mouth, accompanied by blood flowing out. At bedtime in the evening, people try to escape. The corpse and lama are left together. Even the lamp is covered by shadows, making crackling noises and becoming darker and darker. Unless it is the increasing period of the kalpa, actual corpse raising will not occur. But it will look with its eyes and blink. It will speak evil words, etc. Later, such situations are often seen and heard. Even if the corpse does not do so, one will feel fear, generate hostile thoughts, see hallucinations and moving visions, and purification.

Through the power of medicine from not going to villages, Something like vomit will appear from the mouth. If you run away, you'll be ashamed, there's no way to escape, If you stay, you can't sleep, you can't bear it. Compared to empty lands and many old graves, The terrifying charnel ground is there. At that time, renounce the feelings of fear and disgust, Thinking, my body (613) is also like this. Thus, meditate on impermanence and death. If you fear and disgust this, Then you also fear and disgust your own body. Mingle the corpse with your own body, Mingle the consciousness of the deceased, Inseparably with your own mind. In the practice of Mahamudra, Rest naturally and relaxedly. If feelings of fear and disgust still arise, Look nakedly at its essence. The Mahamudra naturally dawns, The fear, dread, and disgust vanish like a rainbow. Feel comfortable and fall asleep relaxed. The secret practice of visiting the charnel ground ends here. The secret practice of offering to the charnel ground, The sixth chapter of the song. Furthermore, a living and diligent person, When performing the offering of realization, It is said that meditating on a cushion for a year, Is less valuable than staying one night, in a fierce place where powerful gods and demons reside. You don't need to specifically search for fierce places, If merit is small or you encounter offense, Or monks and Bonpos quarrel, (614) Or hunt animals, or cut down sacred trees, Or if you encounter such offenses, Or if you haven't accumulated merit in past lives, Then Gyalpo, demons, planets, nagas, etc., The arrogant ones of the eight classes will rise as enemies. Death is constant, there are many deaths, Disease is constant, there are many sick people, Ominous signs and strange events constantly occur. Even if a person with little merit goes there, They will encounter illness and obstacles. Because ghosts have built a nest in that house, Even if you go, you can't sleep. If you go with illness, your senses will fail, If you go with alcohol, you will go mad. In such a haunted house, The lama of the village will be invited. Performing exorcism, reversal, supplication, ganachakra, etc., To eliminate obstacles and adverse conditions, rely on the lama. The ghost is powerful and full of heat, Majestic, strange, causing fear. Hairs stand on end, feeling stuffy, Daring not to look up, desiring rest. Feeling fear from the direction of the spine of the back of the head. If sinners and evil people gather here, They will definitely come, you must call strongly. The place where evil people (615) dwell. I am also a person with little merit, having gone there, I received no help, and my face turned red. Being tormented by fierce actions.
