For a qualified Lama who shows the path to enlightenment, people in the degenerate age do not gather faith, but gather where appearances are good and enjoyment is abundant. Without thinking of the supreme enlightenment to be accomplished, they accomplish grain, wealth, power, and fame in this life. The Lord of Desire is always pleased with this. The way he strives to accomplish his desires is prophesied by the Thubpa in the Sutras. When the blessings of demons and power greatly increase, there is no time to be satisfied with the mind of desire, so hatred burns like fire to destroy others, and attachment churns like water to protect oneself. With the ignorance of delusion, they engage in wrong views and evil thoughts towards the Dharma and its upholders, committing unceasing sins. At that time, the demon kings, the sinful ones, rejoice and are satisfied, protecting his teachings. They transform all the worlds into that wrong path. The faultless paths of enlightenment gradually disappear. These arise from the power of the demons' prayers. At that time, Tara, the swift and courageous one, urged by compassion, to a fortunate mother, not falling into the wrong path, Bodhi.
