It is said that if one is accomplished, all are accomplished. The Lord Buddha, in the boundless world, Spoke countless different Sutra sections, The words are different, but the meaning is the same, It is said that understanding one word, one understands all. Kharak Gomchung was the pinnacle of Dharma practitioners, He said that life has no leisure, and words have no end, Therefore, he taught the essential instructions of the holy ones. Therefore, all the Sutras and Tantras, teachings and treasures, As well as treatises and instructions, oral transmissions, sudden teachings, etc., I want to combine everything into one practice, That is, the four: view, meditation, conduct, and result. The view is the single unification, primordial purity, the realm of Kuntuzangpo, Meditation is the fivefold, the supreme of single unification meditation, Conduct is the three vows, the tradition of single unification Kagyu, The result is supreme and common, may single unification ripen here. First, if one does not realize the nature of the view, Even if one strives in Dharma, one will not transcend samsara. Whether one has studied and contemplated, or looked at texts and lineages, Or (13) a great understanding arises from the Guru's words, Thinking that all Dharmas are inherently emptiness, the realm of Dharma, Free from existence and non-existence, permanence and annihilation, partiality and extremes, Like the center of a perfectly pure sky, If such a certainty arises, That is a view that has fallen into the nature of knowables, It cannot cut the root of samsara. Such understanding is like a patch, it will fall off, It also cannot suppress afflictions and conceptual thoughts. The outer and inner worlds also dissolve into the syllable Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ), The syllable Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ) also rises and dissolves, disappearing into emptiness. Meditating on emptiness with something like the sky, And purifying with Svabhāva (Tibetan: སྭ་བྷཱ་ཝ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: स्वभाव, Sanskrit Romanization: svabhāva, Chinese literal meaning: nature) and so on, Thinking that everything is imperceptible, like the sky, However, the one who thinks of emptiness is himself a conceptual thought, Conceptual thought is ignorance, the root of samsara. Similarly, in Sutras, Tantras, instructions, and texts, It is said that everything is emptiness, And it is said that good and bad, cause and effect, are not established, are emptiness, Just having an understanding of these sayings, one becomes self-righteous, Destroying cause and effect, breaking vows and commitments, Loudly proclaiming that everything is emptiness, Such a black, rampant, demonic view, As clarified in the history of the descendants of Rudra, A wrong view of emptiness is the cause of ruin. The axe that cuts the root of samsara is emptiness, Therefore, practicing emptiness itself, Thinking to cut the (14) root of the five poisons of samsara, Holding onto the opponent and what is to be opposed separately, is also not understanding the meaning. Becoming an opponent, this contradicts the path of Mahamudra and Dzogchen. Conceptual thought

Conceptual thought is the root of samsara. Non-conceptual, non-thought wisdom, although one wishes to cultivate it, is considered a view by the Chinese Heshang, so one must understand its key points. Because conceptual wisdom is the Dharmakaya, there is no awareness or unawareness, no remembering or not remembering. Thinking that the essence abides in the Dharmakaya itself, merely understanding it and generating conviction, then lying down at will and acting without restraint, this is conduct that has strayed into the path of view. It is like seeing a skilled swimmer running in the water, and someone who doesn't know how to swim jumping into the water. Even if one has vast learning and excellent understanding, if the view does not actually arise, it must emerge from within through the power of meditation. Moreover, one must distinguish between experience and realization. Like a clear, cloudless sky, there is no shape or color, but there is something to see. This kind of thing cannot be expressed, but it can be experienced. Holding conviction, one must have self-confidence. This kind of thing has encountered a very important key point. Please bless me, who am like an ocean of diligence, so that realization may arise from within. Thus it was said. Annotation: Approaching virtuous friends, there is almost no change day and night. (15) The body and mind are filled with bliss. The heart channels are happy, and afflictions are suppressed. Activities are reduced, and flaws are naturally pacified. All outer and inner phenomena are seen as emptiness. One feels that mountains, rocks, and walls are no obstacle. Everything is clearly seen as emptiness. However, if one clings to the idea of "it is emptiness," there will be subtle clinging, and it will be impermanent and subject to great change. At that time, because one has not attained the realization of "is" or "is not," if one considers oneself to have the view, there will be many errors. The view of understanding, the view of experience, etc., if one clings to the view, it is like mistaking copper for gold. With devotion as a good horse, and diligence as a whip to strike it, if one accumulates merit, purifies obscurations, and fastens the saddle well, through the power of the blessings of the guru and yidam, one day the view will arise from within. The seer and the seen merge into one, and there is nothing to see. The clinging to yes and no, existence and non-existence, truth and falsehood disappears. All outer and inner phenomena merge into one. Buddhas and sentient beings, self and other merge into one. There is no distraction or non-distraction, no meditation or non-meditation. There is nothing to do, nothing to say, it is the basis of all speech. Obstacles and wrong paths are as terrible as views. The attainable and the attained, the fruit is found within oneself. Sutras, tantras, instructions, and Dharma treasures spring forth from the heart. For unreal, dreamlike beings.
