One should contemplate. In its center is the letter ཧྲིཿ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह्रीः, Sanskrit Romanization: hrīḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Sha). Contemplate red rays blazing. From that, the deity I contemplate, one face and four arms. In the hands holding a bow and arrow, উৎপལ་ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: उत्पल, Sanskrit Romanization: utpala, Literal Chinese meaning: Blue Lotus) and an iron hook. Just by contemplating this deity, one can control the three realms (135). Is the king of a million, supported by a hundred thousand beings. Served by countless Yaksha wealth owners, seven million non-gods. The gods are served by a million tra ki sā te (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: त्र कि सा ते, Sanskrit Romanization: tra ki sā te, Literal Chinese meaning: Zha Ji Sa De), served by a hundred mantra practitioners. Thus it is said. Furthermore, in the King of the Two Tantras of Glorious Hevajra, when explaining the Sadhana of Kurukulle, previously in the twelve continuous tantras, the extensively spoken content is briefly summarized. The goddess arising from ཧྲིཿ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह्रीः, Sanskrit Romanization: hrīḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Sha), her color is red, having four arms. In the posture of bow and arrow, holding উৎপལ་ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: उत्पल, Sanskrit Romanization: utpala, Literal Chinese meaning: Blue Lotus) and an iron hook. Just by contemplating this deity, one can control the three realms. A million are the kings, ten thousand are ordinary beings of the world. The practitioner can possess livestock and Yakshas, etc., seven million non-gods. Two million are the gods themselves, one million are the mantra practitioners themselves. Thus it is said. The way the goddess mentioned in the tantras transmitted the oral instructions is, after begging for alms in the capital of the son Enemy-Holder King, she resided in the garden of light. While washing the begging bowl in the long pond, the son of Drakzinma thought it was the monk called Desong Kor, so Drakzin threw him into the long pond. He just recited the mantra of Kurukulle, and was liberated peacefully without any fault, then went to the Blessed One. Blessed One, I have seen his power before, please teach it for the sake of protecting other beings. After this request, the Blessed One urged Vajrapani, and made the Bodhisattvas and Shravakas hear this mantra and this distinction. After that, in order to protect the teachings of the Blessed One, he gave the Rakshasi Achroma, whom he had raised by begging for alms, to the Great Black One. After that, the Great Black One did not love her, causing her to be frustrated, the Blessed One spoke this distinction of Kurukulle to her, and from then on

mo (136) In the auspicious kalpa, cherished by the Black Protector. Furthermore, there was one who was exceedingly delighted, named Son of the Stars, who was tall and handsome. However, his intellect was dull. Therefore, he requested the Bhagavan, saying, 'If my son possesses great wisdom, he will protect your teachings.' The Bhagavan, merely by speaking this contemplation of Kurukulle, his son became endowed with great wisdom, and within twelve years, he became proficient in all medicine and crafts. If one desires to subdue sentient beings, one should practice this mantra and contemplation. In order to increase great wisdom, one should study this mantra and contemplation. Thus spoke the Bhagavan. Then, the manner in which the oral transmission of the Indian texts arose is as follows: In the past, there was a king named Lhancik Shyepe Rolpa, whose lineage was noble and high, and who had many attendants and consorts. The king did not favor the chief consort, so she sent a servant girl to seek a method to captivate the king. The servant girl searched in various markets and went to a market selling silk threads. There, she met a reddish-brown, extremely beautiful woman and asked her. The woman said that she had such a thing and gave her a pill, instructing her, 'Throw it at whomever you desire.' The servant girl gave the pill to the chief consort, who, suspecting it was poison, threw it into a nearby lake. That night, the king came to the chief consort regularly and engaged in joyful activities, and she became pregnant. When the king found out about this, he blamed the chief consort for not giving him the pill and wanted to punish her. The chief consort explained the whole story, so the king sent someone to find the woman and bring her to the palace. The king recognized her as an emanation of the Bhagavati, so he prostrated and requested her to accept him. The woman bestowed initiation and instructions, and the chief consort attained both supreme and common siddhis. Therefore, the master who was revered by the learned and accomplished was known as the Great Accomplished One, Lhancik Shyepe Rolpa. It is said in the Seven Chapter Tantra that it was transmitted from the initiation master Nagarjuna and others. Then, in successive transmissions, (137) the Indian texts praised by Ḍombhi Heruka, and the 'Five Great Oral Instructions of Kurukulle' arising from the Hevajra, were all written by the great teacher Śīlamati.
