If so, what place is there to trust? Although Maitripa is an inconceivable great lord of yoga, if he had attained the supreme accomplishment, he would certainly have attained enlightenment in that lifetime (318), and it is said that Maitripa had to relinquish his life force. In general, if you are asked whether the palace and charnel grounds of the self-arisen protector have been completed, and whether the attainment of those great accomplished ones you desire has an order of precedence, you should consider what to say. Furthermore, if the eight stupas of the eight great charnel grounds are considered to be the eight types of stupas such as the Nirvana Stupa, according to this system, the eight stupas of the eight great charnel grounds would not have been completed before the Buddha showed the manner of passing into Nirvana. The idea that the central palace, the chest area, moves, and the eight great charnel grounds, the head and neck are damaged, and the four limbs (319), the abdomen and the secret place, etc., the eight places move, is extremely foolish. Dividing the eight great charnel grounds into sixteen smaller charnel grounds, and saying that these places are twenty-four sacred sites. After Purnagiri, Ramaya, etc., of the Chakrasamvara and other tantras and many great accomplished ones have been said to be twenty-four sacred sites, the eight great charnel grounds are completely excluded from the twenty-four sacred sites, which contradicts all statements and is a very serious error. Outside of that, some of those who meditate on the layers of the protective wheel called the "five-layered protection wheel" arise by attaching the root mantra to the mantras of the various (320) classes of dakinis. And the wheel of reversal arises from one impure mantra of the two traditions of Ashtri and Ish. Therefore, it is said that one should meditate on powerful wheels such as the wheel for averting evil forces and the wheel for averting violations of vows, which exist only in some of the Nyingma tantras of Tibet and are produced in the same way as the mixing of mantras and mantra words, but if it is a treatise by a great Indian adept, how could there be terms such as averting evil forces and violating vows in it? Everywhere inside and outside the palace, there are the dharani of the offering (321) clouds, and the mantra of offering: Argham Pratitya ye Svaha. Completely transformed into...

To contemplate being filled with immeasurable offerings arising from "Lapa" means that saying the blessings of offerings and the mantras of offering are the generation mantras of offerings is a false dharma that completely contradicts the cause and the treatises of Indian scriptures. Then, the so-called "fierce mantra of subduing and executing the eight classes of gods and demons" involves inserting individual words such as "rbad (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning: rbad, rbad, to destroy)" and "rbud (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning: rbud, rbud, to strike)" in between many Tibetan curse words, and writing many things such as "seizing life, flesh, and blood destruction" and "heart-life, agitating consciousness." Furthermore, they have written down verbatim things like "A-tsik Nor-tsik," which is known like the wind to all mantra practitioners of the Tibetan Gurupas (322), and claim that it is a mantra explained in the treatises of Indian scriptures. Who with proper conduct would trust such things? They have made a very large model of this, and from it, they have quoted slightly to demonstrate some of the gross errors in the outer "Charnel Ground Path." In the inner "Charnel Ground Path," regarding the realization of the thousand-armed and thousand-eyed Avalokiteśvara, the main deity to be meditated upon in the center of the palace, and the many contents demonstrating the order of the outer, inner, and secret signs, the thousand-armed and thousand-eyed Avalokiteśvara, according to its undisputed tantra and the treatises of Indian scriptures, has eight fundamental hands, and the remaining nine hundred and ninety-two hands. However, here, the six fundamental hands are upside down. Here, there are six fundamental hands. Beyond that, in order, there are sixty hand gestures of the body mandala, eighty hand gestures of the speech mandala, two hundred hand gestures of the mind mandala, two hundred and twenty hand gestures of qualities, and two hundred and forty hand gestures of activities, totaling six more than a thousand, which contradicts calling Avalokiteśvara the thousand-armed and thousand-eyed one, and even the number of hands is mistaken. (324) There are also great doubts about the statements that the ten faces are the faces of the Buddhas of the ten directions, and that the eleven faces are the faces of the unmoving lama. They have only heard of combining the ten bhumis and the ten perfections, but because they have not learned the method of combining them, they understand and combine them according to the literal meaning of "giving alms obtains the first bhumi, keeping precepts obtains the second bhumi," and so on.
