Things to do, and things to do for the lord of the assembly of artisans, Vinayaka. According to what is said in this tantra, initially, a malevolent being who existed as an ordinary being, manifested in the guise of Hayagriva, and promised to protect the teachings (297), therefore Avalokiteshvara became wrathful, and the practice of the four deities and five goddesses as inseparable, etc., if it seems inappropriate, then there is no fault in just that, because it is merely the way of showing to those who are to be subdued. For example, as it is said in the Shri Guhyasamaja Tantra, the words of Vajradhara with profound meaning, the bodhisattvas of the retinue, such as Maitreya, etc., did not understand, and suddenly could not accept, therefore they reported to Vajradhara saying: Do not speak such evil words in the midst of such a retinue! Like that. However, some great scholars say that in the fifth chapter (298) of this tantra, "svasvasvāhā" (藏文,梵文天城体:svasvasvāhā,梵文罗马拟音:svasvasvāhā,汉语字面意思:梭梭梭哈) appears as a mantra modified into Tibetan, therefore it needs to be examined. There are also those who say this. In the twenty-fifth chapter of the tantra called "The Arising of the Secret True Accomplishment of the Wrathful Protector, Glorious Black Vajra," it mainly elaborates on the forms of the four-armed protector, etc., but it also slightly mentions the forms of this protector and Beta, etc. And the chapter that explains this protector is in the fourth chapter of the same tantra, which says: The essence of all protectors is: one face and six arms, the first two hands hold a curved knife and a skull cup filled with blood, three eyes, blue-black, and terrifying, the middle hands on the left and right (299) hold a rosary and a damaru and beat it, the last two hands hold a khatvanga and bind with a threatening mudra and a lasso. Adorned with eight nagas, a face dripping with blood, with a rosary of seed syllables and self-arisen mantras, blessed by it, Vajrasattva as a head ornament, relying on a banyan tree, contemplate suppressing Vinayaka. Offer a large amount of flesh and blood as incense, recite the secret mantra from the beginning of arising, then offer torma, and the activities will be accomplished without hindrance. It is clearly said (300). This tantra was translated by the venerable Pandit Abhyakarra, and the translator Khy'u Gadpa Khorlo Drak, and later by Zami Sangye Drak and the translator Tre'o She Rabpal.

It was translated, and the upper and lower chapters are slightly different. In the fiftieth chapter of the glorious Black Cloak Mahakala Tantra, in general, there are many different types of protectors, and it is said that the protector himself has three faces and six arms. However, the detailed history is that Kyungpo heard from Maitripa in the charnel ground of Kosala, and the process of generating faith in Mahakala through Maitripa's oral transmission is very trustworthy. Many lamas (301) agree on this. In general, this Mahakala was translated from India by a translator. It is also said that Gyijo Moonlight brought it back from India. Although there are other versions, there are not many cases of transmission from those sources now. The Shangpa Kagyu lineage highly values this transmission, so we follow it here as well. Now, in the lineage of lamas, there are the names Maitripa and Rahula. This is because Kyungpo heard many teachings on Mahakala from Maitripa. Later, he also heard from Rahula, and many others were initially heard from Maitripa. The reason why Kyungpo (302) completely heard the transmission of these Dharma teachings is that both lamas are mentioned because both are required. Rahula does not need to be a disciple of Maitripa. In the old versions of Kyungpo's own writings, there is a reason for saying that it is according to the wishes of both lamas. Kyungpo heard from Maitripa in India, and when Rahula came to Tibet, Kyungpo gave it while practicing on Jowo Mountain in Phan Yul, and it is said that he stayed in Tibet for six months. Rahula is the guru of Jowo Je, and he attained the Vidyadhara of Longevity in Riwoché Monastery, and he is still living there now. Therefore, this Mahakala (303) has three traditions: the tradition of the great accomplished Saraha, the tradition of the great accomplished Shavaripa, and the tradition of the great accomplished Rahula. Both the Saraha and Shavaripa traditions were heard from Maitripa. Among them, the Saraha tradition is the practice of three faces and six arms, surrounded by four Krodha goddesses, which is the Indian treatise written by the great accomplished Saraha himself, translated from Sanskrit by the Indian guru Ataya Vajra and the Shangpa translator Tsultrim Gonpo, and is still
