The Yoga of Mind. The Yoga of Transference that Connects the Interrupted Path. First: Clearly visualize yourself as the Lord. In front, meditate on the six-syllable goddess. At her brow center, visualize a red bindu. From it, red rays of light emanate, possessing the sensation of heat. It strikes your own brow center. From your throat, white rays of light emanate, possessing the sensation of bliss. It strikes the goddess's navel. The red and white rays of light mix, rising upwards from within the body, and again from the brow center, the red light dissolves into your own brow center, etc. (526) Rotating like a wheel, contemplate that both the father and mother generate the experience of bliss and emptiness. Meditate until the sensation of bliss arises, and if bliss arises, mix it with emptiness. If the bliss of emptiness fades, again meditate on the wheel of light and stimulate the sensation of bliss. Finally, seal it with emptiness. This is the Yoga of the Action Tantra's own system, which values the method, using bliss as the path. Second: First, visualize your root mother in front of you. Contemplate that this mother, from the time she gave birth to my body and life, has bestowed immeasurable benefits in all lifetimes. Thinking of the great kindness of protecting me from immeasurable harms, cultivate immeasurable love. Contemplate that this mother, from beginningless time (527), has only experienced the cause and effect of suffering in this samsara, and there is no time of liberation, how pitiful, cultivate immeasurable compassion. Contemplate that only I can liberate this mother from the suffering of samsara and must definitely establish her in the supreme state of enlightenment, cultivate immeasurable bodhicitta. If you are skilled in this, then practice it equally towards enemies, obstacles, and limitless sentient beings. Third, there are two aspects: training and application. First: In front of you, at a moderate distance, arrange offerings before a painting or sculpture of the embodiment of the Great Compassionate One, possessing all the signs and qualities, to which you are drawn. Visualize it as the actual Great Compassionate One (528), make offerings and praises. With the complete trust that there is no refuge for me other than you, entrust yourself completely. Contemplate that all sentient beings, equal to space, pray to the Lama Great Compassionate One, Avalokiteshvara. Please bless us to transfer our consciousness into great bliss. Pray in this way many times. Your own consciousness transforms into a white (ཧཱུྃ,Devanagari: हूँ,IAST: hūṃ,吽,seed syllable), which shoots out forcefully from the right nostril. Visualize it entering the Lord's right nostril and dissolving into his heart.

There, settle the mind. Again, it emerges from the left nostril. It enters the heart from the left nostril. Again, it is emitted from the right nostril, and so forth, purified like a wheel. Finally, at the time of placing (529) the breath, after the Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,hūṃ,seed syllable, Hūṃ) has dissolved into one's own heart, Jowo comes to one's own crown. Pray, requesting the attainment of deathless life, and Jowo dissolves into light. It enters from the Brahma aperture. One's own body is filled with a stream of nectar, so imagine and dedicate prayers to having a deathless life and youth without aging. Secondly: When the time of certain death arrives, make preparations as before. Confess and vow to refrain from sins and non-virtuous deeds done before, to your heart's content. Offer the body and possessions in a mandala, completely severing attachment and clinging, so that there is not even a hair's breadth of clinging and uneasiness. As in the previous stage of purification, imagine that your own consciousness, a white Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,hūṃ,seed syllable, Hūṃ), emerges from the right nostril. (530) When it dissolves into the heart of Jowo, remain in the state of clear light. Do not again visualize the consciousness coming out, but repeatedly project it. Even if you cannot accomplish transference in this way, imagine that your own body also dissolves into light and quietly dissolves into the heart of Jowo, and settle the mind in non-thought. In this way, one will be liberated into clear light in the best case. In the intermediate and lowest cases, one will be reborn as a god or a human. It is said that auspicious signs such as rainbows, lights, and relics will appear. This instruction, when meditating on one seat, in the stage of yoga with signs, first gather the outer world and inner beings into clear light, and then practice the protective circle and deity yoga, which is easy to practice and does not contradict the meaning, it is said. A body endowed with leisure, endowment, and a hundred qualities (531). Fortunate ones who wish to take the essence. Enter this unerring supreme path. You will quickly attain the ocean of samādhi. This concludes the chapter on the instruction of Avalokiteśvara's all-pervading compassion from the Kadampa Four Deities Instructions. This is extracted from the teachings of Jamgön Dorje Chang Lodrö Thaye, the "Kadampa Four Deities Instructions". (532) (533) The Condensed Instructions of Niguma. (534) The essence of the hearts of a million dakinis. These are the essential instructions of the Six Dharmas. It is the supreme path of liberation. I will write what is uncommon. Here, the essence of the five tantra classes, the Niguma Six Dharmas, condensed into essential points for practice, is divided into two parts: preliminary and main practice. The first part is:
