Those Bodhisattvas who initially generated the mind of enlightenment contemplate emptiness and signlessness. Alas! Feeling weary of suffering, birth, old age, sickness, and death, (519) they sit in the lotus position, straighten their bodies, maintain mindfulness, and dwell in those mountains. When the hair disappears, in the pores of the hair called "King of Variety," countless billions of Pratyekabuddhas manifest various miracles such as burning flames and raining. On thousands of hundreds of mountain kings made of the seven precious substances, there are wish-fulfilling trees that grant all desires. The roots are pearls, the leaves are gold and silver, the flowers are made of man-shel, and numerous ornaments and Kashi silk hang from them. In such mountains, Pratyekabuddhas dwell and proclaim the twelve divisions of scripture in the sound of the six syllables (520). At the very end, in the pore of the hair called "King of Victory Banner," there are eighty-four thousand precious mountains, and an equal number of wish-fulfilling trees, sandalwood trees, and coral trees. In the jewel-shining pavilions, there are also Tathagata bodies manifested in Jambudvipa, teaching the Dharma, and those who proclaim the six paramitas in the six-syllable mantra, and so on. In short, within an area the size of a hair, there are Buddhas and Bodhisattvas dwelling for the duration of the three times. Some practice the sacred Dharma, some teach the Dharma endowed with the six paramitas, and some manifest miracles of playing with magical powers. All of these proclaim the sound of the six-syllable mantra (521), and the billions of rays of light that arise from them emanate from billions of hair pores, purifying the defilements and habitual tendencies of the six realms of beings. Everything is transformed into the body of Lord Avalokiteshvara, delighting in reciting the six-syllable mantra, and remaining in a state of single-pointed concentration without separation. Fourth, by meditating in this way, clarity will arise in the samadhi, or if meditation becomes tiring, one enters into recitation. In one's own heart, there is an eight-petaled white lotus, with the petals facing upwards and downwards, back to back. In the center of the upward-facing lotus, on the moon disc, dwells the white syllable Sanskrit Romanization: hrīḥ, Chinese literal meaning: sha). Surrounding it is a white rosary of the mantra Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Om Mani Padme Hum).

Having faith that it abides in the right-spiraling conch (522), and having recited it oneself, the sound of the mantra clearly reached the ears of all sentient beings. While abiding in the state of unborn meaning, count the six syllables as much as possible. Then, the mantra garland at the heart melts into light. Its essence is letters, its form is light rays, filling from the crown of the head to the soles of the feet. All illnesses, evil spirits, and defilements are completely purified. Light rays radiate outward, striking all sentient beings, and contemplate that their defilements and habitual tendencies are purified. Again, clearly visualize the mantra garland as before, and alternate between the visualization of recitation and melting into light as much as possible. Finally, meditate on the all-encompassing compassion samadhi described above, and recite as much as possible (523). When ending the session, visualize all the letters dissolving into an inverted lotus, and that dissolves into hrīḥ (藏文:ཧྲཱིཿ,梵文天城体:ह्रीः,梵文罗马拟音:hrīḥ,汉语字面意思:啥). Second, the yoga of no characteristics: From the hrīḥ (藏文:ཧྲཱིཿ,梵文天城体:ह्रीः,梵文罗马拟音:hrīḥ,汉语字面意思:啥) at the heart, light rays radiate, striking sentient beings, and they dissolve into light. From that light, light radiates, striking the outer world, and those dissolve into light. Finally, gathering from the outside in, they dissolve into the two wheels. Those two dissolve into oneself. That itself dissolves from top to bottom, dissolving into the hrīḥ (藏文:ཧྲཱིཿ,梵文天城体:ह्रीः,梵文罗马拟音:hrīḥ,汉语字面意思:啥) at the heart. That also dissolves into a-chung ra-la, then into ha-la, ha into the head, the head into gi-gu, then into nada. That also dissolves into light, and remains in that state as it is. When one begins to radiate without abiding, from emptiness appear three bindus, the central one being hrīḥ (藏文:ཧྲཱིཿ,梵文天城体:ह्रीः,梵文罗马拟音:hrīḥ,汉语字面意思:啥), from which appear the main deity and the retinue of three deities. Contemplate the outer (524) as the palace and the inner as the nature of the deity. If one practices this specifically, then gather it again and abide in equanimity, then arise again, etc., as before. Third, the subsequent two: the actual subsequent yoga and the incidental other yogas that are explained. First, after the yoga of contemplation, recitation, and samadhi has been accomplished, when one subsequently engages in conduct, the two wheels dissolve into oneself. With the pride of oneself as the deity, bless all food with the three seed syllables as wisdom nectar, and enjoy it with oneself clearly as the deity. Contemplate clothing as the deity's clothing, pañcalika, and use it as a limb of accumulating the gathering. Walking, sitting, and lying down, contemplate solely benefiting sentient beings, and extensively make dedications and aspirations (525), etc., without separating from the Great Vehicle yoga. Second, there are three incidental yogas: especially the yoga of bliss and emptiness, the common Bodhi
