May the Sal lineage never be interrupted! May self-arisen, spontaneously accomplished existence manifest in the bardo! To the one who reveals the great self-purification of the bardo, I pray! May the four fearful sounds, the terrifying cliffs, and so forth, the essential methods for unerringly traversing the bardo path, the three general instructions that dispel fear in its own place, transform into the manifestation of the three kayas. May outer objects be expanded as appearance and emptiness, may the nature of inner mind be expanded as clarity and emptiness, may one's own body and all phenomena be expanded as bliss and emptiness, and may I realize the meaning of Mahamudra. To Shang the Teacher, I pray! May the three essential points of the preliminary practice be brought to bear, may the actual practice be freed from the four faults, and may the ultimate four kayas be self-arisen and spontaneously accomplished. May I realize the abiding nature of Mahamudra. The play of appearances is the body of the guru and yidam, the sound of emptiness is the inexpressible speech of the sixty branches, the clarity of emptiness is the non-grasping, blissful, clear, and non-conceptual mind. To Khyunpo Tsultrim Gon, who brings the path to its ultimate conclusion, I pray! In all activities, may all kinds of appearances be taken as the path of illusion of the guru and yidam, and through the essential point of the mind's own luminosity and non-grasping, may conceptual thoughts be liberated in their own place. By the prophecy of a hundred thousand dakini mouths, by the blessings of the dakini empowerment lineage passed down to the brothers, by the secret words of the dakini, the teachings of Niguma, may the dakini's blessings be bestowed upon the qualified hermits. I pray! May the path of generation and completion, union, of the white and red dakini practice, be brought to its ultimate conclusion, and through the swift path of the transference of consciousness of the dakini practice, may I traverse to the dakini realm. May one's own body, the deity's form, be free from the extremes of appearance and emptiness, may the mind itself, non-grasping luminosity, be spontaneously accomplished, and may the bonds that bind be purified in their own place. May I realize the meaning of immortality. To the wise Shangkarwa, I pray! May I not be stained by the defilements of contrived effort, and may the grasping of ordinary attachment be self-purified. May the deity's form, which appears without inherent existence, and my own mind realize immortality. May the existence of the bardo be like an amalaka fruit in the palm of one's hand, may it be perfectly seen by the unmixed wisdom eye, and may all sentient beings of the six realms be led to the path of liberation by compassion. To the glorious Buddha, I pray! May the infinite gateways of birth for the many kinds of beings be purified by the wheel of pure deities, and may the various experiences of

Having dispelled all obscurations of the earth, may we attain the unerring Sambhogakaya. Through the forceful practice of entering completely into the yoga of the movement of the sun and moon of the Candali, having conquered all the cities through which the karmic winds flow, I pray to the accomplished lord, Namkhai Gyaltsen. With the hand mudra (707) that binds and liberates, the vase-like body, the one who rides the wooden horse, through the illusory wheel of the deathless accomplishment of body and mind, from the swift path of the messenger of the attached yogi, may the rainbow body be manifestly accomplished. From the expanse of peace, in the dance of wrathful compassion, having arisen in the form of the swift-acting wisdom protector, having victoriously triumphed in the battle against the obstructing demonic forces, I pray to the Great Seal Lama, inseparable from the Protector. I pray to the assembly of Dharma protectors who accomplish the four activities without exceeding the time, being able to be employed as servants, and with the glorious prosperity of increasing sovereignty, benefit, and happiness, bless the fortunate kalpas to fulfill hopes as desired. I pray, rejoicing in the miraculous (708) generation of the Buddhas of the three times, and the great deeds of the Bodhisattva princes, and the views and conduct of all the upholders of the teachings, rejoicing until the ultimate supreme liberation, bless me. May I become proficient in pure vision, without partiality, towards the virtuous spiritual friend who shows the path of liberation, and the supreme Dharma, the true path of liberation, and the Dharma brothers who have set out on the path of liberation. The root is the six dharmas of Niguma, the trunk is the Great Seal, the branches are the three aspects of taking the path, the flowers are the white and red dakinis, and the fruit is immortality and infallibility, practice according to the order. (709) Namo Guru. In the place that governs the kingdom of union, in the palace of Akanishta Dharma, I pray to the great Buddha Vajradhara. May the firelight of the A in the navel of the consort melt the Hum at the crown of the father, and may it arise as bliss-emptiness wisdom. In the place of the dance of great secret, in the forest of dense sandalwood, I pray to the wisdom dakini Niguma. Through the power of the intense recollection of the path of non-existence, may all the play of Dharma appearance and sound arise as the self-appearance of illusion. In the place where the wheel of benefiting others is turned, on the summit of glorious Red Mountain, I pray to the accomplished Thangtong Gyalpo. I pray to the (710) essential bindu, complete with all the needs and desires of the four empowerments.
