Disciple wisdom is not obtained from greatness, it is inherently present in its own nature. The Eight Thousand Verses say: "The dharmas are..." First, the saying of being too close: These two, mind and dharmakaya, have no good or bad in their essence, no before or after in time, and no high or low in position. If there is mind, there is dharmakaya; if there is dharmakaya, there is mind. Due to being obscured by ignorance, one does not know. Whatever one does not know is it. Now, the saying of the lama: Whoever knows, by whom is this knowing awareness known? By itself. How does one know? In the manner of the non-duality of subject and object. Second, the saying of being too high: Those of small minds cling to the beautiful adornments of the marks and signs of the Buddha. If one thinks, "If this is the Buddha, then it is supreme," then what appears as adorned with marks and signs is the handprint of the stainless dharmakaya; this is the real Buddha. The essence of the Tathagata (373) is not other than this, it is said by pursuing the essential reasons. Third, the holy one went to the stupa of Karu Chanamar. He saw an elephant lying down, its prana entering the central channel. Its consciousness was stunned in non-thought. He went to it, put his palms together, and said, "How wonderful!" After that, he said, "Compassion." Kundag said, "This wonderful thing is an animal. Among them, the one called elephant calf is extremely foolish." He replied, "Even Manjushri, the lion of speech, has nothing superior to this. He does not know it," and said, "Compassion." He said, "For us, there are words like cutting off and resting." Thus he said. The saying of the four faults being self-liberated: Past thoughts are not stopped, future arising is cut off, the present is tasteless, without source, uncountable, and vanishes by itself. A clear and pure awareness arises. Looking at it (374), the radiance does not cease, it is free from all grasping, like the sky free from clouds, it dwells naked in self-awareness, and thus recognition is decided. Certainty arises. Being free from the guard of non-distraction, one is liberated from the four faults. Rinpochepa, the words are not in accordance with other gifts. This self-liberation from the four faults, others have something deeper. In the introduction to space, the mind relaxes into its own nature, loosening without fabrication. By placing it loosely without grasping, color and shape, place and time, etc., are not established anywhere, therefore, the one thing that distinguishes all things is clear.

The mind, too, is inseparable from that state, not formed into colors, etc., and its radiance is unceasing, remaining serenely. The sky is without awareness, and it is said that the mind is like the sky. All appearances are mind. Mind (375) is the nature of the sky, so all of samsara and nirvana is the nature of the sky. In the Two Examinations, it is said: "All is the nature of the sky, and the sky also has no nature." It is said that the sky is placed as an example of the meaning of mind: realization or non-realization, if realized, it is the meaning; if not realized, it is the example. The meaning of the fourth empowerment, this spontaneously co-emergent wisdom is very subtle and difficult to realize. The meaning of Vajra Emptiness is that the exhaustion of being separated from the suffering of afflictions is the Dharmakaya. The pacification of the edges of characteristics is itself. Like the sky, there is no characteristic. That is, there is no characteristic, no nature, no object to be established, transcending the realm of speech, so it is said to be unspeakable, unthinkable, and inexpressible. It can be spoken in words, expressed in speech, thought in mind, the last and middle of knowledge (376) etc. Afflictions are crossed over by grasping and conceptualizing. Because it is empty of cause, it is not born; because it is empty of conditions, it does not cease. Because the essence is not established, it is the nature of the sky. It is not non-existence or annihilation, but the object of experience of individual self-awareness. Because it is without cause and does not depend on others, it is always existent or non-existent. It is said that if it is without cause and does not depend on conditions, will it not become both existent and non-existent? It is not so, it comes from the part that is clear without ceasing, and it is non-existent from the part that is empty of nature. To the mother of the victors of the three times, that is, the main deity is the golden-colored mother, with one face and four arms. The great mother of example is the great mother of meaning. The Heart Sutra says: "All the Buddhas who abide in the three times also rely on this profound Prajnaparamita to attain unsurpassed perfect (377) enlightenment." So it is said. Awareness is clear and empty, the Vaibhashikas believe that mind and alaya-vijnana are different, so they do not realize the nature of mind. Lama asked Shakawa, the alaya-vijnana of the Vaibhashikas and what is said in the sutras are inconsistent, which one is correct? The Vaibhashikas make the alaya-vijnana into the eight aggregates of consciousness, that is a falsely established alaya-vijnana. The sutras are the real ones, so it is said.
