It is called the instruction of being without "I", with few words but vast meaning. It is called small effort but great meaning. It is called one who knows one thing is proficient in everything. Or, it is called Secret Mantra taking the result as the path. It is called the path-ground of direct perception. It is called the effortless vehicle. It is liberated from the three stains of non-understanding, wrong understanding, and partial understanding. From the Mother of the Conquerors: If one knows Suchness through form, then one will know the sutra and expansion of all dharmas. And: The Suchness of form is neither bound nor liberated. And: The manner of not taking and not abandoning form. These are spoken until omniscience. In the Praise of Names it says: A moment of mind knows all meanings. And: With one moment, it distinguishes. The Holy One said: If the lineage is self-liberated by the blessing of the guru, then the instruction is poetry. Likewise, not understanding is also beneficial. The Holy One said: If one does not recognize the arising of the moment, then one does not understand the key point of the unconditioned. In the Sutra of Perfecting the Roots of Virtue it says: Having kept the precepts for a thousand kalpas, and having meditated on samadhi for a long time, if one does not know this true limit, then those are heretics in my teaching. Thus it is said. If one does not understand the one genuine practice that penetrates to the bone of reality, then all other activities in the direction of Dharma are said to be tasteless. The order of individuals who practice these is fourfold. The sharpest faculties, having previously studied the definitive meaning from previous lives, in this life, through the blessing of the guru, immediately recognize the nature of reality, and simultaneously attain realization, liberation, and stability. Therefore, they do not depend on practicing the path, like King Sakara Siddhi. From the Inconceivable Tantra: Realization, familiarization, and completion are not present in this; in the very moment of realization, one is definitely situated on the fourteenth ground. Thus it is said. The sharpest faculties recognize through the blessing of the guru. When whatever arises is self-arisen as the nature of Dharma, as Toktsepa said: Ordinary consciousness awakens in the center of the heart; when the six aggregates are pure, bliss is uninterrupted; all actions are meaningless causes of suffering; there is no need to meditate, rest in the natural state. Buddha Yeshe Zhap said: The essence of the Buddhas of the three times.

As it is said: "The nature of awareness is one's own mind. If you wish to realize it, realize it as it is. If you meditate, it will manifest." For the intermediate, in the first instant, afflictions and discursive thoughts arise. In the second, they are liberated into dharmata. For the lower faculties, when encountering discursive thoughts, seize them without following. Practice with the three complete knowledges. The path is established by the degree of effort. Nagarjuna said: "Just as fire resides in wood, it will not arise unless rubbed. Likewise, without familiarity, Buddhahood will not arise in this very life." Therefore, the order of instructions explained here does not necessarily need to be followed exactly as stated. Knowing the capacity of these students, guide them according to what they need, when and where it is appropriate. No matter what kind of student, if a single method of instruction is used, like trying to thread a needle with a fist, it is the fault of the lama lacking experience. From the Small Collection of Instructions: "The teacher knows the student's mind, and appropriately applies the teachings. The Buddha said this is the true teacher. The wise should gather students, the foolish should not." As it is said. The main part of these, the secret words, are introduced like stealing with the vajra seal, hence it is called the instruction of self-liberation from the four faults. Relying on this method, the non-dual appearance and mind, the ordinary consciousness without intention, will arise spontaneously. That is the measure of reliance, the wheel of samsara and nirvana, equal and without pursuit. So it is said. Third, the subsequent practice: the spontaneous arising of the three kayas, enhancement, and removal of obstacles, in two parts. The spontaneous arising of the three kayas and the enhancement of subsequent wisdom. The first is to recognize the spontaneous arising, to generate certainty and conviction, to maintain unwavering continuity like a river, and to complete it over years and months. The meaning of what is said is: the preliminary practice is to relax in the natural state, without fabrication, and the ordinary consciousness arises spontaneously without intention. This is the intention of the Buddhas of the three times. Recognize that one's own mind, unborn, is the dharmakaya. Even if you spread out sutras and tantras like butter, and churn them like yogurt, generate certainty and conviction that there is no other way to transmit the ultimate meaning than this. At that time,
