When confused, it is called delusion, but if one realizes, that itself is the Dharmakaya, because the mind being unborn is the Dharmakaya. The mental cognitions arising from that are not separate from the Dharmakaya. If we apply this meaning to our own being, (238) due to seeing a beautiful woman as a condition, a strong and unbearable attachment arises in the mind. If one follows this, one becomes an ordinary person; if one abandons unpleasant things etc. with antidotes, that is the path of the Lesser Vehicle. If one tames it with the mind of enlightenment, transforms the Paramitas into body and wisdom and practices them, that is outer Tantra, but one has not yet returned to one's own place through the practice of Mahamudra. Therefore, do not follow, do not abandon, do not tame, do not transform, but recognize that desire itself is bliss-emptiness, or individual self-awareness wisdom, and use it as the path, this is Secret Mantra Vajrayana. On top of the desire that has not ceased, in the state of the three Kayas, relax and rest without fabrication, then the radiance (239) does not cease, the nature is free from affirmation and negation, in the ungrasping Dharmakaya, that individual self-awareness wisdom is what is to be known. Thus, the defilement of desire becomes the cause of obtaining purity and liberation, this is the meaning of being skilled in secret mantra methods, or not being deluded by methods. At this time, one attains the state of the Bhagavan Protector Amitabha, or Desire Vajra, and even if one is in this Saha world, it is still Sukhavati. The Root Tantra of Chakrasamvara says: Wherever one dwells is a palace, whoever one accompanies is a Yidam deity, whatever one does is the Dharmakaya, there is nothing that is meaningless. The Lamp Explanatory says: For the benefit of a lustful person, his actions are Vajrasattva. The Two Inquiries Tantra says: The fire of desire (240) burns, and is burned by that very fire. It also says: Attachment binds the world, and liberation is attained by desire itself. The Praise of Names says: Emptiness delights in the mind of desire, abandoning the desire for existence, etc. This is the meaning of these. Likewise, anger is clarity-emptiness, ignorance is awareness-emptiness, etc., on top of whatever gross or subtle negative thoughts arise.

Should be practiced. If one reed is empty inside, it is said that everything is empty inside. Saraha said, "Possessing wisdom that has not abandoned and is not stained." And, "Ropes cannot bind sparks." Therefore, afflictions are not abandoned by antidotes, and afflictions are not stained by the impurity of their own nature, that is called affliction (241) wisdom, or it is called conceptual thought is the path of Dharmakaya. Therefore, between afflictions and wisdom, or between conceptual thought and Dharmakaya, there is only the difference between knowing and not knowing, or realizing and not realizing, or being aware and not being aware, looking outward and looking inward. Saying that the nature of conceptual thought is Dharmakaya is like meditating with the head on the buttocks, the mind is reversed. Furthermore, devotion and longing for the lama, or the clarity of the generation stage, or extreme compassion, or rejoicing, etc., are correct paths according to the rules of other religions. But if one does not recognize the true Dharmakaya of this religion, one cannot reach the self-ground of Mahamudra, so no matter what good thoughts arise, one should state them as before and abide on them (242), the radiance of devotion and longing is uninterrupted, the Dharmakaya without clinging to characteristics, knowing it as such is the Mahamudra of devotion. If practiced in conjunction with the generation stage, it is the deity body Mahamudra, if practiced in conjunction with compassion, it is called great compassion without object, etc., practice in conjunction with whatever good thoughts arise. When abiding in the place where the mind arises, the two, abiding and moving, are inseparable from one, when abiding, recognize that abiding itself is self-luminous Dharmakaya and practice, and there is no need to deliberately relax. When moving, recognize that moving itself is Dharmakaya and practice, and there is no need to deliberately gather in. Therefore, whatever arises is a support for meditation, do not fall into the clinging to reality of mental stagnation and the debates of sects. Whatever arises, recognize its own nature (243) and be certain, is the view. Recognizing and abiding on its own ground is meditation. Not deviating from that state in all activities such as walking, standing, sitting, and lying down is conduct. Both are certain as the three bodies, is the result. Thus, recognizing one's own mind for a moment, on the basis of grasping one's own ground, view, meditation, conduct, and result, all the dharmas included in samsara and nirvana are unmixed and complete, without deficiency.
