It should be practiced like the intermediate ritual of auspicious words. Second, the natural liberation of the four faults of the main practice is: It should be made free from the four faults, as it is said in the scriptures: inseparable from the Dharmakaya, but not knowing it because it is too close. It means that the mind is free from conceptualization, and the union of Shamatha and Vipassana, even for a moment, is inseparable from the unconditioned Dharmakaya introduced earlier, but even though it is very close, in the past (152) because there was no non-conceptual wisdom, the meaning of Dharmata was not seen, and one wandered in Samsara, trapped by faults. As the example is shown in the Sutra Collection: Sentient beings are confused like deer caught in a net. Also, as it is said in the treatise Distinguishing Dharma and Dharmata: The existent is not seen, and the non-existent is seen. It means that the Dharmata of the reality of abiding is not seen, but the illusion of appearance that does not exist is seen. Now it is seen by relying on the special instructions of the Guru. As it is said in the Uttaratantra: There is nothing to be clarified here, look at reality with reality, and be liberated by seeing reality. Thus, one should recognize the meaning of Dharmata and meditate on it without separation, without any effort, and liberation will be attained. The second fault (153): Even if it arises in oneself, it is not recognized because it is too profound. It means that the self-nature of the mind, luminosity, is not an object to be meditated on by conceptual thinking and grasping at characteristics, so it was not recognized before. As it is said in the Uttaratantra: Because it is subtle, it is not an object of hearing, because it is ultimate, it is not an object of thinking, because Dharmata is profound, it is not an object of worldly meditation, etc. Now it is seen and recognized by non-conceptual Samadhi. As it is said in the Uttaratantra: The inner sacred Dharmakaya will be seen with the eye of wisdom. Also, as it is said in the Lalitavistara Sutra: Profound, peaceful, free from elaboration, luminous, unconditioned Dharma, I have realized a Dharma like nectar, but no matter who I explain it to, it cannot be understood, so I will abide in the silent forest. (154) As it is said, from this time of realizing luminosity onwards, abandoning the actions of the body, the speech of language, and the distractions of the mind, one should meditate without separation. The third fault is that because it is too easy, one does not believe it, and thus separates from non-distraction. As it is said, that kind of wisdom
