When any afflictions such as attachment, hatred, pride, and jealousy arise, examine their essence greatly, destroy them without fabrication, and relax. Similarly, when practicing the generation stage, wind practice, etc., mix them together and practice, striving to practice inseparably without the slightest interruption. In short (96), practice until you attain a teaching that is not subject to conditions. Sometimes obstacles such as dullness, agitation, and inability arise. Meditate on the lama at the crown of your head, pray intensely, and dissolve the lama as before, generating devotion. Also, meditate on compassion for sentient beings. If you think you are too busy to practice, then even when going to a gathering, start from your own monastery and meditate without forgetting even for a moment until you arrive at the gathering. Then apply the practice to other activities such as walking and sitting. Then also get used to eating and drinking, and mix the practice into all activities. Fourth, there is no need to seek elsewhere for "Mahamudra" or "Dzogchen" or "the inseparability of samsara and nirvana" that is separate from this. Decide on the view of freedom from elaboration. Third (97), the result is the spontaneous arising of the three kayas: clarity is the Nirmanakaya, emptiness is the Dharmakaya, and union is the Sambhogakaya. As it is said, on that view of non-extremes, the clear aspect is the Nirmanakaya, the empty aspect is the Dharmakaya, and union is established as the Sambhogakaya. Therefore, there is no need to seek the three kayas elsewhere; by continuously maintaining the union of clarity and emptiness, the three kayas will undoubtedly be manifested. Although the profound and essential meaning of such secret teachings is shown nakedly and without error, one spends one's life on the path of effortless distraction. Haven't you returned empty-handed from the island of jewels? Alas! You yourself have wasted time in laziness and sloth, becoming a flatterer who only looks to others' faces. You are not ashamed to say "self" to yourself, but you speak heartfelt words to others. This is the tradition of the holy ones (98). However, with a pure mind of benefiting others, may whatever merit is obtained from speaking these words have the power to quickly generate the wisdom of great bliss in the minds of myself and those to be trained! This was written at the urging of the monk Konchok Samdrub (dkon mchog bsam grub), at the request of Jampa Ngawang Namgyal (byams pa ngag dbang rnam rgyal).

May this work, composed by རྒྱལ་གྱིས་དབེན་གནས་ཞེ་དགོན་, benefit the Dharma and many sentient beings! (99) The Great Seal Gauri Instruction Manual, Vajra Word Knot Liberation, is complete. (100) Namo Guruve! The Great Seal Gauri Instruction Manual, called Vajra Word Knot Liberation. Homage to the glorious Vajradhara! Homage to the supreme nature of all that is stable and moving! Homage to the spontaneously accomplished Dharmakaya! Then, I will explain the stages of the Great Seal instruction. Here, the great Vajradhara, lord of the six families, imparted to the wisdom dakini Niguma. The Great Seal (101) Gauri instruction is taught in two parts: the meaning of the name in Vajra verses, and the meaning of the text with the name. The first has two parts. First, the translation of the name: In Sanskrit, it is: Mahāmudrā (梵文天城体:महामुद्रा,梵文罗马拟音:Mahāmudrā,汉语字面意思:大手印), which translated into Tibetan is: Great Seal. Second, the explanation of the name: The Great Seal encompasses all stable and moving things, (102) therefore, there is nothing above this seal, so it is called Great. What is it? It is the clear light Dharmakaya. Because it is needed, the name is mentioned first, which also makes it easier to understand the rough meaning and find examples. Homage to the Union Great Seal! This is the perfect homage made by the translator. Second, the meaning of the text: All sentient beings inherently possess the three kayas in their nature, but they are obscured by the stains of delusion, not clear, and wander in samsara due to ignorance. If one meditates on this profound path, the stains of delusion will be purified, and the great bliss of the three kayas will be realized. As Khyunpo said in the three bases, paths, and fruits: the base is the three kayas self-abiding, the path is the three kayas taking the path, and the fruit is the three kayas manifest. (103) Therefore, the base to be purified is not the two kayas with two form kayas, but the three kayas divided by inner characteristics in the Dharmakaya itself. In this text itself, it says: The sky of the Dharmakaya is the base to be purified. The rest is easy to understand. To explain its meaning, there are three parts: From where was this path heard? How is it the supreme Dharma? This path
