The throat chakra, the speech chakra is filled with light, purifying the sins and obscurations of speech, is the secret empowerment. Again, offering to the deity in the heart, reciting: Om Dewa Wa Wadzra Pitsu Badzra Hung Hung Hung Phet Soha. By reciting and (visualizing) in the heart, the light of the assembly of deities illuminates the heart, the Dharma wheel is illuminated by light, all the defilements of the mind are purified, is the empowerment of wisdom and primordial awareness. Again, offering to the assembly of deities in the navel, reciting: Om Ah Badzra Dhrika Hung. By reciting, the light of the deity illuminates the navel, the emanation chakra is illuminated by light, the realization of grasping body, speech, and mind as separate entities is purified, is the fourth empowerment. Then, bestowing the four empowerments of melting bliss: The assembly of deities in the crown chakra melts into light or nectar, filling the entire head, purifying the sins and obscurations of the body, is the vase empowerment. The light or nectar of the crown chakra dissolves into the deity in the throat, the throat is filled with light or nectar, purifying the sins and obscurations of speech, is the secret empowerment. Then, the assembly of deities in the throat melts, dissolving upwards from below into the deity in the heart, becoming light. Again, the assembly of deities in the navel melts into light, from below the navel filling with light, dissolving into the deity in the heart. Thus, the assembly of deities in the heart melts and mixes, generating uncontaminated bliss, purifying the sins and obscurations of the mind, is wisdom and primordial awareness. Thus, being free from the grasping of body, speech, and mind, the meaning of the third empowerment, the unfabricated ordinary mind, is the fourth empowerment. Furthermore, after oneself or others have practiced in this way, when going to sleep, visualize a white bindu the size of a mustard seed (721) inside the skull, directly above the eyebrow of one's own yidam, inside the letter "ཀ", visualize it filled with the heart mantra of the yidam, and with the intention of dream practice and illusion, grasp the dream. Alternatively, visualize that bindu in the heart, and grasp the dream. In this way, grasping the dream, taming the dream, and knowing the dream will occur simultaneously. And, one will be able to see the yidam, and to ascertain the appearance of the external world as it is. Afterwards, enjoy the tsok, confess, request forgiveness, make aspirations, offer the remaining torma, and dedicate the merit. The empowerment of dream yoga is complete. The four dream tantras were transmitted by Vajradhara Lodro Rinchen Shavari Maitripa to the Shangpa Kagyu.

Furthermore, Vajradhara transmitted the Shangpa Kagyu through the accomplishment of Niguma Dakini. Furthermore, Vajradhara transmitted the Shangpa Kagyu through Gusalasagara Ratna Akararahula. Furthermore, Vajradhara Tilopa, Naropa, Jowo Rinpoche, Rongpa, Aga, Geshe, U, Zhakpa, Kyergangpa, Nyenton Sangye Tonpa, Shangton Tsultrim Gonpo, Ritropa Shangkar Sangye Pal, Shakya Rinchen (1722) incarnation, thus I Jampa Rinchen is also a wise and virtuous Shangton. Jampa Pal, Sangye Dar, Sangye Pal, etc. Furthermore, Sangye Pal transmitted to Namkha Gyaltsen, who transmitted to me Jampa Rinchen. Furthermore, Namkha Gyaltsen transmitted to the incarnation. I am the tradition of the Kyungpo yogi. Without regard for precious life, I went to India seven times. I personally met the Buddha and Dakini, offered precious gold powder and requested. Having bowed to the feet of the Lama Buddha, I will write down the empowerment of clear light. Whoever wishes to receive the empowerment of clear light and great bliss in order to dispel the darkness of ignorance, should hang banners and curtains in a secluded place with a person who possesses renunciation, devotion, undiminished bindu, and the three characteristics. There, as before, generate the Lama and the five deities inseparable from bliss and emptiness in the center of the lotus and on the four petals, and surround them with five offerings, five tormas, and gathering implements. Then, the disciple should bathe and sit on a comfortable seat, and perform the preliminaries as before (723). Then, visualize the Lama in the center of the four-petaled lotus on the ordinary crown of the head, and the four deities on the petals of the lotus. Visualize the Lama and all the Buddhas of the three times surrounding them, their nature being light. Visualize the space in front as well, and then offer the seven precious things and the three offerings of outer, inner, and secret. From the heart of the Lama, radiate immeasurable rays of light, touching all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. From the space between their eyebrows, white nectar of wisdom arises and dissolves into the crown of the Lama. From the Lama, stainless white nectar descends and dissolves into my own crown, increasing bliss. All the sins and obscurations of the body are purified, and bliss arises. This is the vase empowerment. Again, with offerings, light rays or nectar like red lotus arises from the Lama's tongue and dissolves into my own tongue.
