In the three stages, it is indicated by three names. The four stages of impure, semi-pure and semi-impure, pure, and extremely pure are respectively called sentient beings, bodhisattvas, and tathagatas. Thus it is said. Therefore, the true nature is without abandonment or adoption, but due to non-realization, it is like a gold necklace not being recognized as gold, causing the owner to suffer the pain of poverty. Therefore, recognizing the true nature as it is is sufficient. It is said in the Lankavatara Sutra: "Look at reality as it is, and seeing reality will liberate you." Therefore, the thought of whether or not conceptual thought is the Dharmakaya also depends on the true nature and the appearance of the mind. For example, when a person with jaundice sees a conch shell as yellow, the true nature of the conch shell, which is white, will never change, but for the eye consciousness of a person with jaundice, the white will appear as yellow. Similarly, the Dharmakaya itself appears as samsara due to non-realization. As it is said in the Arrow Sutra: "As long as the mind is still scattered, that is the nature of the Protector (Buddha), are water and waves different? The nature of existence and equality is like space." And it is said in the Lankavatara Sutra: "The river of the Alaya, is always moved by the wind of objects, the waves of various consciousnesses, dance and constantly arise." Therefore, the ocean is moved by the wind and appears as waves, but the waves are not different from the ocean. Similarly, the mind itself or the Alaya consciousness is moved by objects, and appears as various conceptual thoughts of grasping and being grasped, but these are not different from the mind itself, the Dharmakaya. Therefore, in terms of the true nature, the mind itself is the luminous Dharmakaya, which is free from eliminating or establishing faults and virtues. But in the confused appearance or the appearance of the mind, conceptual thought is to be abandoned, and non-conceptual wisdom is to be cultivated. It is said in the Sambuta Tantra: "Conceptual thought is great ignorance, it is the cause of falling into the ocean of samsara. Abiding in non-conceptual samadhi, one will become as immaculate as the sky." And the teacher Dignaga said: "Apart from conceptual thought, there is nothing called samsara. By being separated from that conceptual thought, you will always be in nirvana." Therefore, in order to realize the true nature as it is,
