. To accomplish the illusory body, to accomplish dreams, to realize the clear light Mahamudra. The three aspirations are: to think that death is certain, to have devotion to the lama, and to think that appearances are unreal. Third, to generate samadhi on a single cushion at the time of death is to abandon the four kinds of dullness and meditate single-pointedly until the warmth of the cushion has not disappeared. To this, the six realms appear as illusions, diseases and demons are taken as the path of illusion, the six qualities of manifestation appear, and the illusion of non-attachment arises naturally. The number of supplications and aspirations at the time of death is: For the illusory body at the time of death, there are three supplications and three aspirations. The supplication is: Abandon self-grasping (538), for the sake of useless lineages, accomplish the illusory body. The three aspirations are as mentioned above. In this stage of the illusory body, all dharmas are symbolized by the example of the moon in water, thereby knowing that appearances are without self-nature, and learning to be free from attachment, rejection, and establishment. The Auspicious Hevajra says: Self-nature is unborn from the beginning, neither false nor true as it is, all like the moon in water, those who desire do not understand yoga. Thus it is said. Moreover, from the reason of dependent origination, all conditioned dharmas must arise from causes, therefore it is determined that they are unborn from the beginning, thereby generating certainty in the view of the Middle Way free from extremes. Although unborn from the beginning, in conventionality it arises dependent on causes, therefore it is not madness (539), thereby seeing that the results of actions are infallible, not just a verbal statement, thereby generating a pure view free from permanence and annihilation. The reason for this is as follows. In the Auspicious Hevajra, immediately following the above quotation, it says: For example, from the effort of rubbing wood, a rubbing board, and a person's hand, fire will suddenly arise. The fire does not reside in the rubbing wood, nor in the rubbing board, nor in the person's hands, and if one searches everywhere, it cannot be found anywhere, therefore the fire is neither true nor false. Thus, yoginis should keep all dharmas in mind. Thus it is said. The Sutra also says: Whatever is born from conditions is unborn, in it there is no birth, self-nature is not obtainable, whatever depends on conditions (540), that is emptiness, whoever knows emptiness, that person is not negligent. Thus it is said.

Regarding those meanings, the Protector Nagarjuna, in the salutation of the Root Verses on the Middle Way, said: "That which arises dependently, without cessation, without arising, without annihilation, without permanence, without coming, without going, without difference, without oneness, pacifies all elaborations, the peaceful teaching, to the perfect Buddha, the best of speakers, I prostrate." And in that very text: "Not from self, not from other, not from both, not without cause, things, wherever, whenever, are never born." And so on, extensively stated. Such praise for the reasoning of dependent origination, Aryadeva said: "Therefore, this reasoning of dependent origination cuts through all nets of wrong views." Thus he said. In short, in this context of the illusory body, the way to train in the fact that there is no difference between the appearance in a dream and the appearance during the day is the essence of the key point. As Rongzompa Chenpo said: "The various objects that appear in the state of dreaming, and the various appearances that appear in the present state, these two are the same in terms of appearance. They are also the same in terms of how they appear. That is, in the dream state, the various objects that appear, even when they appear, appear to themselves. And when they appear, they appear to their own nature. Understand that there is no difference in terms of how they appear. There is also no difference in terms of the ability to perform functions. That is, in the dream state, these various appearances can also cause attachment and aversion. And in the present state, these various appearances can also cause attachment and aversion. Understand that there is no difference in terms of the ability to perform functions. There is also no difference in terms of liberation through understanding. That is, in the dream state, if you recognize it as a dream, you are liberated. Similarly, even now, if you recognize it as an illusion, you are liberated from attachment and aversion. Thus, understand that there is no difference in terms of liberation." Thus he said. Therefore, if you understand these present karmic appearances as being like the moon in water, then enlightenment in the bardo also arises from this. Jetsun Drolchok's song says: "All the karmic appearances of the present time, are unestablished in nature, like the moon in water. When certainty arises about this meaning, later, in the bardo, the Victorious One attains the Sambhogakaya." Thus he said. At this time,
