Entering comes from the sound of "Yugananda," where Yuga means double or pair. Nanda means non-duality, that is, impartiality to any side, the great wisdom of equality without discrimination. To this, the translator refers with many names such as great bliss. Second is the meaning of the text, establishing the introduction on the form of the body of Evam (474), elaborating on the branches of the stages of the path. The first part is: Ah! That which is inexpressible, spontaneously accomplished, uncreated, the Sambhogakaya of union and great bliss appears according to what is to be tamed. The great Vajradhara, possessing the three bodies and seven limbs, heard this Mahayana unborn self-sound. Also, hearing is taken as the basis for speaking. Who hears? It is said to be Vajradhara. As the sutra says: The wisdom of all Buddhas, and whoever possesses Bodhicitta, that is the Victorious Vajradhara, the Lord of all Tathagatas. Also, Vajra is: Vajra is called indestructible. The meaning of Vajra is indestructible, that is, the wisdom that is free from the destruction and annihilation of the collection of signs and discriminations. The word "dhara" indicates holding its own nature. Also, in the "Thirty Verses" it says: Whatever is at the beginning of a name, when the first is combined with the second, it becomes universal in meaning. Thus, "Whatever" is a universal word, therefore it points out the object of reference, Vajradhara. So, what kind of special qualities does he have? That is, possessing the three bodies and seven limbs. Transcending the path of language, therefore it is free from speech. As Dawa Nunshe said: What the Guru says is not true, and the disciple gains nothing from it, the nectar of co-emergent bliss, who says to whom and what else? It also says: Even the all-knowing one is speechless, only the King of Bliss alone is victorious. Also, Tilopa said: Alas! This is self-realized wisdom, not the path of words, not the realm of consciousness. Tilopa, I have nothing to show, only self-realization and self-liberation. So it is said. Because it exists in reality, it is spontaneously accomplished. The Uttaratantra Shastra says: Because of the peaceful Dharmakaya, it is called spontaneously accomplished. Also, the Sanskrit of spontaneously accomplished is: Nabha.

Oh, that is Ābhoga (Tibetan: ཨཱ་བྷོ་ག་, Sanskrit Devanagari: आभोग, Sanskrit Romanization: ābhoga, literal Chinese meaning: enjoyment) or, in other words, diligent action. Then, because of the restriction by letters, there is no diligent action of Ābhoga, which is spontaneous accomplishment. Regarding this, the Ornament of the Sutras states: Just as a jewel, without effort, naturally displays its own light, so too, the Buddhas, without effort, certainly demonstrate their activities in the same way. Also, as the Dohā states: Separated from action, it constantly shines upon beings. As it is said, since qualities are inherently present from the beginning, it is called spontaneous accomplishment. Now, if that is the case, the difference between samsara and nirvana (page 477) is not reasonable, if one asks this. From the perspective of reality, there is no difference between samsara and nirvana, but from the perspective of the mind, the terms samsara and nirvana are established. As the Introductory Chapter of Empowerment states: Just as the moon rises gradually, and is gradually completed by its phases, the shadow diminishes and is complete, the moon is neither deficient nor complete. Similarly, wisdom rises gradually, and is gradually completed by the stages, afflictions and so forth diminish and are complete, wisdom is neither deficient nor complete. The appearance of the waxing and waning of the moon is due to the difference between being covered by shadows and not being covered. It is not that there is no moon in the empty sky. Likewise, ordinary sentient beings are merely unable to perceive great bliss because their minds are obscured by the two obscurations. It is not that there is no great bliss at that time. (page 478) Regarding this, the commentary written by Nāropa states: "Afflictions and so forth" refers to the afflictive obscurations, the obscurations of knowledge, and the obscurations of meditative absorption, along with their habitual tendencies, which are diminished and abandoned, and this itself is indicated by the term "complete." Wisdom is not extinguished, nor is it complete. Regarding this, it is stated in the scripture: The Buddhas always shine, but not ignorant and foolish sentient beings. And so forth. Because it is not born from causes and conditions, it is unconditioned. As the Uttaratantra states: Without beginning, middle, or end, because it is self-nature, it is unconditioned. Also, as the Introductory Chapter of Empowerment states: Wisdom does not arise from a cause, and what arises from a cause is a result. Since wisdom does not arise from a cause, what arises from wisdom is not cause-born, (page 479) therefore wisdom is not cause-born. As it is said. The emptiness that possesses all kinds of excellence, and the unchanging great bliss, have been coexisting in union from the beginning, so it is union. Now, if that is the case, in the root tantra it says: Emptiness holds the image of form,
