The three key points of time are: dawn, daybreak, and sunrise. The three key points of the body are: (420) lotus posture, squatting, and the lion's sleeping posture. The three key points of focus are: two grasps of non-thought, and transforming thought into the path. The first is: After praying as before, the upward-moving wind accompanies the white bindu, and while reciting Sukama, visualize the light of the letter A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Literal Chinese meaning: A) burning, and focus on the lotus wheel, single-mindedly engaging in illusory remembrance. Before falling asleep, the four letters dissolve into the letter A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Literal Chinese meaning: A), and as the letter A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Literal Chinese meaning: A) vanishes with light, falling asleep, it is impossible not to grasp the dream, it is said. The downward-moving wind accompanies the red bindu, arising in the navel. Focus on the two bindus rotating in the navel in a chasing manner, and combine the breaths, engaging in illusory remembrance of the dream. Before falling asleep, the white bindu (421) exits from the right nostril, and the red one exits from the left nostril, focusing on rotating between the eyebrows. When those two appear in front, visualize them as Hevajra father and mother, and engage in remembrance. Then, the mother dissolves into the father, and the father vanishes into light, grasping the dream in a state of non-thought. The second is: Even if that doesn't work, after praying as before, visualize yourself as Hevajra, and in his heart, visualize a lama with the nature of light. In his heart, visualize a white Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum) syllable, and especially focus on the Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum) syllable and the lama, single-mindedly engaging in remembrance. Before falling asleep, the yidam dissolves into the lama, the lama dissolves into the Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum) syllable, and the Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum) syllable vanishes into light, grasping the dream in a state of non-thought. The third is: (422) The location of the dream is the throat, the seed syllable of the dream is Am (Tibetan: ཨཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अं, Sanskrit Romanization: aṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Am), and the seed for grasping the dream is the thought between sleep and dream. That is also after praying as before, during the day, with the previous focus, or to enhance it, grasping with a mere intention, therefore, in all meditation and post-meditation, whatever thought images arise, determine them to be illusory dreams, and continuously maintain a strong intention, and at night before falling asleep, when the appearance of not yet being asleep ceases, in that moment between sleep and dream when coarse dreams have not yet arisen, without distraction, repeatedly send the thought "it is a dream," and thus, deities, fire, water, and other (423) faint thoughts

If a thought arises, because the thought that arises is the cause of dreams, recognize it in the dream, and like a thread entering the eye of a needle, you will enter the dream. At that time, without opening your eyes, contract the lower wind, and transform the grasped thought into many immeasurable things, and generate a strong desire, so that while grasping the dream, you will not fall into drowsiness, and you will be able to practice for a long time. In this way, you will grasp every dream you dream, and every dream you grasp will be transformed into practice. Second, regarding the practice, there are four points. First, training the body with the mind: Meditate on the Guru Yoga, and pray to realize self-grasping, meaninglessness, and the illusory body of dreams (424). Visualize yourself as the Yidam, and imagine going to a cliff or the top of a castle, and place yourself on a cliff like a deep abyss. Think: I am asleep, this is a cliff and a place of terror in a dream. Dreams have no real substance, no matter how much you practice, it is still practice. Imagine yourself falling from the ground like butter. When rising, visualize the deity images appearing like a string of beads, but without self-nature, like a rainbow. Strongly generate the desire for dreamlike illusion. Meditate repeatedly in that way. Second, training the mind with the body: Meditate on the Guru Yoga as before. Visualize a blue Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, literal Chinese meaning: 吽) seed syllable of the Yidam deity on every joint of your body. All of these (425) dissolve into light, thereby purifying flesh, bones, diseases, evil spirits, sins and obstacles, etc., as well as the obstacles of karma and maturation. Visualize the Yidam deity appearing, but without self-nature, like a rainbow. Think: This deity image is my mind, the mind is just awareness. There is no self-nature of arising, no characteristic of cessation, visualize it as the nature of great bliss of union. If you cannot practice this, or have committed the five heinous crimes, or the instructions are unclear, or the combination is bad, or you have heard but not practiced, then obtaining the Sambhogakaya in the Bardo is also explained in the teachings of the immortal body and mind, and merely meditating on the empty deity image can also fulfill all the vows of the upper and lower vehicles (426), as explained in the Dakini Vidyadhara. Rest in the state of clarity and emptiness, non-attachment, and self-arising illusion. Third, training with selflessness: Do not meditate on the Guru Yoga as before. Visualize yourself as the Yidam's
