Because it is not established, it has no self-nature and does not abide. From the "Questions of Great Exertion," Great Exertion said: By suppressing with great exertion, all dharmas are not established, hence they are without self-nature. Because no dharma exists and is not established, the dharmas do not abide anywhere. Why is that? Because all dharmas are called non-abiding. Thus it is said. Therefore, all dharmas are without self-nature, unestablished, and inseparable from illusion, not to be made into two. Illusion is beyond all of the great and small handprints, the great and small perfections, the middle and the end, existence and non-existence. As the "Non-Dual Victorious King Sutra" says: This illusion transcends existence and non-existence, and does not even abide in the Middle Way, it is conventional truth. All dharmas arise naturally from the appearance of illusion as a play without cessation. Thus it is said. That is, all sentient beings and all Buddhas are illusion and dreams. From outsiders to Madhyamaka, Dzogchen, Mahamudra, and all other schools are also illusion and dreams. Therefore, even if there is a superior dharma or school, that is also illusion and dreams. Therefore, there is no dharma that is established separately from illusion. In the "Chapter on Indra," it says: The gods said to Subhuti: Venerable Subhuti, are all sentient beings like illusions? Subhuti said: Gods, sentient beings are like illusions, sentient beings are like dreams. Gods, thus illusion and sentient beings are non-dual and cannot be made into two. Thus dreams and sentient beings cannot be made into two. Gods, all dharmas are like illusions, like dreams. Then the gods said to Venerable Subhuti: Venerable Subhuti, do you say that the perfectly complete Buddha is also like an illusion, like a dream? Subhuti said: Gods, if I say that Nirvana is also like an illusion, like a dream, what need is there to mention other dharmas? The gods said: Venerable Subhuti, is Nirvana also said to be like a dream, like an illusion? Subhuti said: Gods, if I were to say that there is another dharma that is superior to Nirvana, that too is a dream.

For example, it is said, "Like an illusion." That is to say, like an illusion, like a dream, nirvana, these are non-dual, they cannot be taken as two. Thus it is said. Therefore, all phenomena of samsara and nirvana are without self-nature, or because they have no substance, they are illusion. There is no phenomenon that exists independently of illusion, and because there is nothing higher, it is excellent. There is nothing higher and it is like a dream and an illusion. Illusion transcends existence and non-existence, and is free from all attachments. Because all phenomena have no self-nature, the all-knowing one speaks of it as illusion. The self-liberation of holding the illusory body is complete. Each of the fourteen dharmas that realize the ultimate meaning is superior by six dharmas. That is, first, if the great bodhicitta is not generated, one will not enter the Mahayana, so one must do things for the benefit of sentient beings (633). If the body is not visualized as a deity, the body will not transform from the ordinary, and the complete enjoyment body will not be achieved, so the body must be visualized as a deity. If one does not pray to the guru, there will be no blessing, and the Great Vehicle Tantra is superior because of the blessing, so no matter what, one must not be separated from the appearance of the guru. If one does not meditate on Mahamudra, one will not become a Buddha, so one must realize that appearance and existence are self-liberated. If one does not rejoice, the harvest of merit will be destroyed, so oneself and others must practice rejoicing in merit. If one does not dedicate the root of virtue, it will not increase and be exhausted, so one must dedicate it with impartial great compassion for the benefit of sentient beings. The six-fold illusory body is said to be the tradition of my Khyunpo yogi. (634) The activity of the Vajra Kilaya. The activity of the Vajra Kilaya). In Tibetan: Called the activity of the Vajra Kilaya. Homage to glorious great bliss. The Kilaya with three points, bathe with fragrant water, arrange three kinds of grains. Place the good container filled with grains. Pray to the protectors and all the Buddha-sons, dwell in the wisdom of body, speech, and mind. Offer the offerings, torma, and tsok wheel. Pray and speak the blessing of truth. Bestow the benefit of the names of the five wisdoms, do not use it for inferior activities. Both the striker and the struck should have three faiths and bodhi.
