Firstly, through three rituals or in an instant, one's own body becomes the deity father and mother, from the seed syllable on the crown of the head, rays of light emanate, purifying everything inside and outside the body, and cultivating the nature of emptiness and clarity, the body of light, like a rainbow of appearance and emptiness, without inherent existence yet possessing form and color. This is the meaning of what was said. Regarding the outer and inner purification of the father, and the outer and inner purification of the mother, the distinction in what is purified is: if one enjoys elaborate deity practices, one can perform the generation stage of three rituals, etc., but the practice of the lamas is to generate it in an instant. The method is: first, take refuge, generate bodhicitta, and precede with guru yoga. From the state of luminous emptiness where the guru and one's own mind are inseparable, like a bubble bursting from water (192), one's own self becomes Chakrasamvara, body color blue, in union with the consort Vajravarahi, red in color. Meditating on appearance without inherent existence, as the path of the nature of light. Above the assembly of matted hair in front of the dreadlocks, there is a blue Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,hum, hum,吽) about the size of one's own thumb. The blue color is like clear lapis lazuli, or like the clear autumn sky. Clear like a hundred million suns shining all at once, one should meditate on it as clear and distinct. If one cannot abide in that, then below it, at the place of one's own assembly, focus on the slightly unclear, dark state. Again, focus on the Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,hum, hum,吽). Meditate on these two alternately. Then, the outer purification of the father is: for example, at dawn, mountains and rivers all appear clearly, but when the sun (193) rises, they are most clear, and the places where it has not risen are somewhat dark. Although one's own Chakrasamvara is the nature of light, extremely clear, because of the greater clarity of the Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,hum, hum,吽), one's own self remains in a slightly dark state. From the Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ,hum, hum,吽) on the crown of the head, a blue light with the brilliance of a billion suns emerges with a buzzing sound, pervading up to one's eyebrows, like the sun rising on a mountaintop. Above that, the blue is clear, bright, with the brilliance of a billion suns, and below that, it is slightly unclear, focus on that. Then gradually, the light radiates to the ground, up to the neck, heart, waist, hips, both thighs, shins, up to the soles of the feet, all are blue, clear, bright (194), imagine it possessing the light of a billion suns. By that,

The terror of light. Visualize the Kalachakra and lotus sun discs as being very clear, as the nature of light. Also, visualize clearly from the soles of the feet upwards to the crown of the head. Again, from the Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: 吽) emanates light, and visualize clearly from the crown of the head downwards to the feet. The father's inner practice is: Again, from the Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: 吽) at the crown of the head emanates blue light, possessing the brilliance of a billion suns, entering from the Brahma aperture at the crown of one's head. Filling everything inside the head, so that the bones, brain, flesh and blood, and pus there, all transform into light with just the touch of the light, dissolving away, the inside of the head is all blue light, clear and bright. All the outer skin is also blue light, clear and bright. Outer clarity, inner clarity, becoming the nature of light. Light rays go downwards, from the throat, the heart, gradually between the fingers and toes, even pervading the pores of the hair and body hair, so that the flesh, bones, heart, internal organs, blood and pus, bone marrow, etc., in those places, in short, all the parts of the physical, ripened aggregates transform into light, the inside and outside of one's body are all the nature of light, clear, bright, and without impurities, without obscurations or hindrances, the form is formed in appearance, but the touch is not substantial, meditate as if a rainbow is appearing. When that is done well, the mother's outer practice is: On the mother's crown is a red Vaṃ (Tibetan: བཾ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: वं, Sanskrit Romanization: vaṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: वं) syllable, about the size of a thumb, possessing the brilliance of a billion suns, from which red light emanates, radiating in all directions, pervading above the mother's brow, becoming the nature of light, clear, bright, and without impurities. Then gradually visualize from the throat, heart, waist, hips, thighs, calves, to the heels, like a heap of rubies or coral covered with dust, and then sprinkled with clean water, the places touched by the light are bright, and the places not touched are visualized as being slightly dark. The inner practice is: Again, from the Vaṃ (Tibetan: བཾ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: वं, Sanskrit Romanization: vaṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: वं) emanates light, entering from the mother's Brahma aperture, filling the inside of the head, the brain, blood and pus, flesh and bones all transform into light, visualize the entire head as the nature of red light, outer clarity, inner clarity. Gradually filling everything from the throat to the toes, purifying all appearances of physicality, the nature of red light, the mother does not obscure the father, the father's back
