The display of power free from the three abodes (115), rest greatly in that self-arising. Essence is inexpressible, beyond mind. Nature is inseparable, co-emergent. Aspect is unceasing, self-arising. Characteristics are unmixed, complete. Birth, aging, sickness, and death are primordially empty. Likewise, all dualistic appearances such as samsara and nirvana, bondage and liberation, are primordially empty of the three spheres, the great instruction of deathless self-liberation. This was written by Kunga Nyingpo Taranatha at the secluded place Samding for the sake of some students seeking the Dharma. May there be auspiciousness! Oṃ namo vajra ḍākinīye! Possessing all forms, the master of all that is permanent and impermanent. Emanating as the mother of all victors. To her, I prostrate with complete reverence. May I accomplish great bliss in all aspects. Here, wishing to practice the method of the White Dakini (116), in a meditation place and house with the proper characteristics, sit on a comfortable seat. Adjust the body posture as appropriate. First, take refuge, generate bodhicitta, and practice the four immeasurables. Purify into emptiness with svabhāva. From within emptiness, in an instant, in the sky in front, visualize a white triangular dharma source, the wheel of bliss, radiating light. Moving in bliss, arising in bliss. In its center is a white Hrīḥ (藏文:ཧྲཱིཿ,梵文天城体:ह्रीः,梵文罗马拟音:hrīḥ,汉语字面意思:赫利) syllable, radiating light, purifying the sins and obscurations of all sentient beings, gathering back, completely transforming, from which arises Vajrayogini, her body color as white as the autumn moon. Beautiful and in the prime of youth. Her breasts are full, her body slightly wrathful, her fangs slightly bared. Her black hair is loose and flowing, covering her upper body. (117) Her three eyes are red and bright. Adorned with a crown of five dry skulls and a necklace of fifty wet heads. Her right hand holds a curved knife raised in the air, and her left hand holds a skull cup filled with blood, pointing outwards. Her two feet are placed on her shoulders from behind. Her waist is slender, her breasts are particularly full, her body is adorned with the five seals. She resides in the center of a white mountain of fire with three peaks, with a white Oṃ (藏文:ཨོཾ་,梵文天城体:ओम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡) on her forehead, a red Āḥ (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आः,梵文罗马拟音:āḥ,汉语字面意思:阿) on her throat, and a blue Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུྃ་,梵文天城体:हुँ,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽) on her heart. Offering goddesses emanated from my own heart offer worship. Recite "Oṃ Vajrapuṣpe" etc., praised by the glorious Vajra Dakini and others. I pray that you bless me! After praying in this way, from Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ (藏文:ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ་,梵文天城体:ओम् आः हुं,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ āḥ hūṃ,汉语字面意思:嗡 阿 吽)...

(118) Radiating white, red, and blue lights. Inviting the essence of body, speech, and mind of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions, the white, red, and blue lights dissolve into the three seed syllables at the three places of the venerable mother. From the three syllables, white, red, and blue lights emerge intertwined with each other. Passing through the central channel, they emerge from the bhaga and dissolve into one's own three places. One's own body, speech, and mind are the essence of the body, speech, and mind of Vajrayogini. Although they appear as distinct forms, Chakrasamvara and Vajrayogini, method and wisdom, are inseparable and become one essence. Focus one's mind on this. Knowing all things to be like illusions, recite Om three times. Then, make offerings and praises, and pray to the venerable Vajrayogini (119) to lead me to the pure Khechara realm. After praying in this way, practice the visualization of transference, or the venerable mother dissolves into light and merges into oneself from the crown of the head, and remain in equipoise for a short while. Dedicate the root of virtue to enlightenment. Manifesting the Vajradhara of maturation and liberation will prevent harm from evil spirits. This essential teaching of Mahamudra was also written at the request of faithful disciples by the mendicant monk, the pretender Kunga Nyingpo (कुनगा स्निंग पो,Kun-dga' snying-po,Joyful Heart Essence) Taranatha (ཏཱ་ར་ནཱ་ཐ,Tāranātha,Savioress Protector) at the supreme place of accomplishment, Samding Monastery (བསམ་ལྡིང་,Samlding). May goodness increase! May the Guru and Yidam grant auspiciousness! The method of combining the three paths into one practice is as follows: The preliminary and subsequent practices are like the illusory body of the six dharmas. In the main practice, visualize oneself as the Yidam Chakrasamvara, and above one's head, visualize the Guru and Yidam as an inseparable form, (120) clearly visualizing the form, and repeatedly pray with intense devotion. Alternatively, one can visualize the Yidam adorned with the Guru as a headdress. Then, regard all sounds, whether actually heard or remembered by oneself or others, as the mantra of the inseparable Guru and Yidam. Whatever thoughts arise in the mind, regard them as the mind of the inseparable Guru and Yidam. Since all appearances are mind, and mind arises, ceases, and abides, greatly contemplate the self-nature of emptiness from the very beginning, and be certain of it. In that state, whatever arises, whether the five poisons, skillful means, or conceptual thoughts, maintain the state of not being separated from the knowledge of their own nature. This is called "self-liberation without abandonment."
