It should be printed. Thus saying and thinking. Then, if you want to elaborate on the methods of purifying obscurations, such as the recitation of the Hundred Syllable Mantra, meditate on the lama on the crown of your head. Pray with intense devotion. It dissolves into oneself. Inside one's own skull, in the center of the white Dharma origin, the white A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: a, Chinese literal meaning: A) is clear and bright. From this, nectar descends, purifying sins and obscurations. Maintain a clear and unwavering state of mind. These constant practices, these single-seat practices, should be done in strict retreat. Remembering the kindness of the lama who guides one to the profound nature of oneself, always perform the seven-branch offering and praise to the lama and yidam as one, and accumulate merit. After experiencing various experiences in this, combine it with the illusory body, dreams, grasping, practice, expansion, transformation, and emanation (696) that cause the six realms to appear as illusions, and practice it. This is the essence. In the guru path, relying on appearances, transform the guru into the path. Likewise, have devotion to the guru. Have gratitude for that. Accumulate merit for that. Transform self-arising into the path. In the yidam path, appearances are the pure appearances of the yidam, accumulate merit, and self-arise. The deity body of union, and in the illusory path, appearances, one's own mind, illusion, dreams, and clear light self-arising are transformed into the path. Thus, it should be known. In this way, know appearances as the guru and yidam. Know that as one's own mind. That, like an illusion, is clear, empty, and blissful self-arising. This was composed by Kunga Nyingpo Taranatha. Mangalam! Om Nama Bama Rita Vajra Bhya (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ན་མ་བ་མྲྀ་ཏ་བཛྲ་བྷྱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओंनामबमृता वज्रभ्यः, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: oṃ nama bamṛta vajrabhyaḥ, Chinese literal meaning: Om, Homage, Not, Death, Vajra, To the) The essence of deathlessness and self-liberation is to act like the six preliminary and subsequent practices (697). Pray to realize the deathlessness and self-liberation of one's own mind. On the crown of the head of one's own bliss supreme coemergent father and mother, the blue Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुँ, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum) and the red Bam (Tibetan: བྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: बँ, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: baṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Bam). From these two, clear, bright, and dazzling rays of light arise, unparalleled. Whatever is touched by the light becomes extremely clear and bright, and the subtle and coarse particles of flesh, blood, bones, etc., are purified. Meditate on the rainbow body of radiance manifesting, and in that order, purify from the crown of both to the soles of the feet. Focus the mind on the body color, face, hand gestures, ornaments, and clothes as clear as a rainbow. This is only a mental appearance. After deciding this, the radiance of one's own awareness, separated from the grasping of one's own mind, the power that does not stop anywhere, only appears as the deity body. The moment of appearance is emptiness.

Pa Rang (698) Greatly regard that self-arisen skill which is free from the three—arising, ceasing, and abiding—of the mind. Essence is inexpressible, beyond intellect. Nature is inseparable, co-emergent. Aspect is unceasing, self-arisen. Characteristic is unmixed, utterly complete. Just as birth, aging, sickness, and death are primordially empty, likewise all dualistic appearances such as samsara, nirvana, bondage, and liberation are primordially empty of the three spheres. This is the great instruction of deathlessness and self-liberation. This was written by Kunga Nyingpo Taranatha in the solitary place of Samten Lding for the sake of some students who seek meaning. Mangalam. Supratistha. Om am ih. Homage to the Guru Sambharadi. To practice the seven-syllable mantra of the supreme bliss, the middle way: In a place of great joy, perform refuge and bodhicitta, and (699) purification with svabhava. From within emptiness, instantly from one's own mind HUM, in the center of the protective circle and palace, oneself as the lama, glorious Heruka, the power of Vajra Compassion, with a body whose hue is a swirling light of indranila, one face and two hands holding vajra and bell, embracing the consort. Adorned with three eyes, a crown of matted hair, various vajras, jewels, half-moons, six mudras, a crown and necklace of human heads. The right leg extended, trampling fierce beings and the central channel on a lotus and sun disc. Naked, wearing only a fresh tiger skin loincloth, enjoying inseparable union with the innate bliss. Embracing that consort, Vajravarahi, intensely red, with a clear vermillion hue, blazing like the fire of an eon, (700) holding a curved knife and skullcup, embracing the neck of glorious Heruka. Naked, with unbound hair, five mudras. The left leg extended, uniting with the father. Wearing a necklace of dry skulls. Both are beautiful and full of youth, endowed with the nine moods of dance. Residing within a mass of terrifying flames. Wearing a crown of Akshobhya. The samaya and jnana beings become inseparable. Within the body, the central channel, the upper tip thin at the crown of the head, and the lower end wide, reaching the lower gate. Within that, at the crown of the head, a six-petaled lotus with seven syllables circling clockwise. By meditating on the bliss of the union of father and mother, the entire dhati is filled with mantra syllables, filling the body with light. Purifying all sins and obscurations. All self and others become supreme bliss. Everyone recites the mantra: Om hrih ha ha hum (701) hum phat. Recite as much as possible. Offer argham and so forth, and inner offering torma.
